Ariana Grande is trying to clear the air about her lunar skepticism, but her *Wicked* costars aren't making it easy.

On Tuesday, the Grammy winner returned for round two of *Vanity Fair*'s lie detector test interview, a year after the series exposed her for doubting the 1969 moon landing. The first time around, her fellow *Wicked* lead Cynthia Erivo asked a series of rapid fire questions while Grande was hooked up to the lie detector — including whether or not she believes the moon landing was fake.

"Jesus Christ," Grande responded at the time. "What do you take me for? No."

Unfortunately, the polygraph reader then called her out, saying the results were "inconclusive," which prompted the pop star to spiral. Naturally, the clip went viral. So a year later, hooked up to the polygraph for an interview with Bowen Yang, Grande took a moment to address the nonsense.

"I wanna make sure you're getting the truth this time, because I feel a little bit like we have some air to clear," Grande said while the same polygraph operator strapped her into the machine. "For me, that moon thing… doesn't sit well with me."

Getting it out of the way early, she added, "The moon landing has happened… and f--- off if it didn't."

But that wasn't the end of her moon woes. Yang went on to ask his *Wicked* costar a number of questions, hoping to catch her in a lie, and before wrapping up, brought things full circle by asking the star if she'd "like a chance to redeem [her]self" regarding the moon landing.

"No," Grande replied. "I wanna move past it."

Yang then asked the singer if she truly believes that Katy Perry and Gayle King went to the moon on their Blue Origin space trip, to which she replied, "No, because they didn't." As for whether she would sing in space as part of the next Blue Origin crew, she answered, "[I] wouldn't do that trip, personally."

The interview then intensified as Yang lobbed his toughest question yet: "Do you believe in the moon?"

"I do." Grande replied, then joked, "You know. I hear both arguments."

Bursting into laughter, Yang warned, "You're not helping your case."

"*You're* not helping my case," Grande replied, seemingly fed up with the subject. "The truth is, I don't give a rat's a--! I'm worried about Earth, goddamn it! We're burning alive!"

She continued her rant, exclaiming, "We're killing each other! Can we worry about Earth for five minutes? Who gives a f--- about the moon and the flag?"

As it turns out, plenty of celebrities do. Just last month, Kim Kardashian caught some flack for revealing that she has some doubts about the infamous Apollo 11 mission that saw two men walk on the moon.

"I don't think we did. I think it was fake," she admitted on a recent episode of *The Kardashians.* "I've seen a few videos on Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn't happen. He says it all the time now, in interviews. Maybe we should find Buzz Aldrin."

And Kardashian isn't alone. Tiffany Haddish was asked to weigh in on the subject during her Wednesday visit to *Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen* and the *Girls Trip *star ultimately sided with Kardashian.

"I believe that there's people living on the moon right now," Haddish said. "Do I believe we were there? No."

She continued, "I don't believe we [were] on the moon. I believe there's people there though."

For the record, NASA has argued otherwise. Following Kardashian's comments, the agency's acting administrator Sean Duffy addressed the matter on social media, writing, "Yes, @KimKardashian, we've been to the Moon before… 6 times!"

Justin Baldoni's lawyers are now claiming that Blake Lively improvised multiple unscripted kisses while filming an *It Ends With Us* scene that was cut from the movie.

In footage shared with ** and disclosed as an exhibit in the Wayfarer parties' motion for summary judgement filed on Nov. 13, Lively and Baldoni are seen filming a hospital scene as their characters, love interests Lily and Ryle. The brief snippet sees Lively approach her costar, they share a brief kiss, and then she walks off camera.

Per the new filing, Baldoni's legal team claims that Lively "oversaw" the scene, which "she herself added to the script in which her character kissed Baldoni's character in every take" despite their being "no kiss in the script."

As previously reported,* It Ends With Us* was set to resume filming following the Hollywood guild strikes of 2023 but before this occurred, a meeting between Lively, Baldoni, and several other producers was called in January 2024 to address a list of concerns from the actress. During the meeting, all parties allegedly agreed to a list of 30 terms that established courses of actions for the remainder of the shoot.

The filing from Baldoni's team notes that Lively requested that there was "to be no spontaneous improvising of any scenes involving physical touching, simulated sex or nudity."

Baldoni's legal team suggests the newly disclosed video shows Lively allegedly engaging in an unscripted kiss herself, before that meeting occurred.

Representatives for Lively did not immediately respond to **'s request for comment.

The latest chapter in the ongoing legal battle between the former costars sees defendants Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, Jamey Heath, Steve Sarowitz, publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel, Texas-based social media consultant, Jed Wallace, and Street Relations Inc. asking U.S. District Court Judge Lewis J. Liman to rule in their favor without proceeding to trial.

The 73-page document sees the group list reasons why Judge Liman should toss the case before it makes it to the trial currently slated to begin in March 2026.

Per the documents, the Wayfarer attorneys argued, "When viewed in context, no reasonable juror could find that the handful of comments and miscommunications Lively has mustered amounts to sexual harassment."

The ongoing legal battle began when Lively filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department last December, accusing her costar and director of sexual harassment on the set of *It Ends With Us* and claiming that he orchestrated a smear campaign against her in the aftermath. She subsequently filed a lawsuit against Baldoni and Wayfarer in New York federal court.

In response, Baldoni filed his $400 million lawsuit against her as well as her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane, claiming civil extortion, defamation, breach of contract, and invasion of privacy. He also filed a $250 defamation suit against *The* *New York Times*, over the publication's story that first brought Lively's allegations to light.

In June, Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed the entire lawsuit filed by Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios production company. Liman found that since Lively's claims against Baldoni were first made in a complaint to the California Civil Rights Department (which was then reported on by *The New York Times*), the claims are covered by litigation privilege and not considered defamatory. The claims of defamation made against Lively's publicist, Reynolds, and the *Times* were additionally dismissed.

One more reason that *Clueless *is special to Alicia Silverstone is that her late mother, Didi, had a cameo.

"There's a wedding scene — my mom is in the back, and she died, this night, six years ago," Silverstone said during a 30th anniversary screening of the movie Wednesday at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, N.Y., per PEOPLE. "So it's really lovely to have, because I love her and miss her, and so it was very moving to see that moment and go like, 'Oh my God, there's my mommy,' and tonight's the night. Tonight's the night she passed. So, that's very nice."

In the beloved 1995 movie, a modern take on Jane Austen's *Emma*, a wedding takes place between Ms. Geist (Twink Caplan) and Wallace Shawn's Mr. Hall, whom Silverstone's character, Cher, had set up. At first, she had done it for better grades, but she later realized that she was happy to bring people joy.

Didi Silverstone, who was part of the scene, died in 2019.

Her famous daughter, who's now 49, has publicly remembered her before.

In May 2021, for instance, the actress wrote about their last years together to mark Mother's Day.

"I loved my mommy. Her smell. Her skin. Her hands and feet. She was so beautiful, every part of her," Silverstone wrote on her The Kind Life website. "My mother lived lightly on the earth, she planted seeds in me, she loved animals, and she taught me to never be materialistic or waste anything."

The *Bugonia* actress explained that her mom told her in her final months, "I hope I've been a good enough mother for you."

Silverstone also recalled some helpful words she heard about that time.

"A friend of mine who lost his mom the year before I lost mine gave me some sound advice: 'Be present with her in the end, just be there for the last breath,'" Silverstone recalled. "And I was. Holding her for the final 48 hours of her life as she took her exit. I melted into this experience of taking care of my mom during those years. It was a gift."

Silverstone has also noted her appreciation for her most famous film, which was directed by Amy Heckerling and featured a cast including Paul Rudd, Stacey Dash, Donald Faison, Justin Walker, Dan Hedaya, and the late Brittany Murphy.

She's even set to star in and produce an upcoming Peacock series that will revisit the stylish story.

"I think we're going to try really hard. The goal is to make it honor what everyone loves about *Clueless* and Cher," Silverstone told *Today* in August. "So we want to honor that, but also bring something fresh and new to it. I'm confident that we'll be able to do that, but we're in baby stages right now."**

- *The Naked Gun* director David Zucker thinks that the new reboot of the franchise tried to copy his style.

- The filmmaker claimed that producer Seth MacFarlane "totally missed it" while trying to ape his style.

- Zucker also said the new *Naked Gun* "spent a lot of money on scenes full of technical pizzazz," but that "big budgets and comedy are opposites."

David Zucker wasn't particularly impressed with this year's *Naked Gun* reboot.

The filmmaker, who co-wrote and directed the first two films in the comedy franchise starring Leslie Nielsen, opined that the latest installment in the series missed the mark in an interview with *Women's World*.

Zucker said that he and his filmmaking partners — his brother Jerry Zucker and their collaborator Jim Abrahams — helped establish the norms of American parody movies, and that subsequent filmmakers tried to emulate their approach.

"My brother, Jerry, and our partner, Jim Abrahams, started doing spoof comedies 50 years ago, and we originated our own style — and we did that so well that it looks easy, evidently," he said. "People started copying it, like Seth MacFarlane for the new *Naked Gun*. He totally missed it."

MacFarlane helped shepherd this year's *Naked Gun* revival, which starred Liam Neeson as the son of Nielsen's Lt. Frank Drebin, as a producer. The *Family Guy* creator was also credited with "Additional Literary Material," according to the WGA. The film's final screenplay was written by Dan Gregor, Doug Mand, and director Akiva Schaffer, whom Zucker did not name in his disparaging remarks.

Elsewhere in the interview, Zucker lamented the budgeting of contemporary comedies, including the new *Naked Gun*. "You shouldn't spend too much money on comedies, and one of our rules is about technical pizzazz," he said. "Big budgets and comedy are opposites, and in the new *Naked Gun*, you could see that they spent a lot of money on scenes full of technical pizzazz while trying to copy our style."

The new *Naked Gun* had a reported budget of $42 million, while Zucker's original film cost around $14.5 million in 1988 — which, adjusted for inflation, comes to around $38 million in 2025's dollars, which isn't too far from the reboot's budget. Zucker's 1991 sequel, *The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear*, reportedly cost around $23 million, which translates to around $54 million today. And the 1994 threequel *Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult*, which Zucker co-wrote and produced, reportedly bore a $30 million price tag — equivalent to around $65 million today.

Zucker also hypothesized that Schaffer's *Naked Gun* was only created for financial gain. "Everybody's in it for the money now, and that feels like the only reason why they wanted to do a new *Naked Gun*," the director said.

The filmmaker emphasized that "there's a certain method to the madness" that he and his partners articulated with a list of 15 spoof comedy rules. "I'm teaching them in the hopes that if anybody tries to do a movie like this again, they'll do it right," he said.

Zucker said that the trio began codifying their comedic rules after receiving advice from a friend who saw them perform a stage show in Los Angeles. "He explained that you need to have one person be the straight man while the other person is doing the jokes," he recalled. "The person who was supposed to be the straight man was also trying to be funny, so that didn't work, and that became our first rule. From there, we came up with 14 more rules, including the last one, which is, 'There are no rules.'"**

Miles Teller knew 2015's movie *Fantastic Four* movie was bad.

He explained as much recently on SiriusXM's *Radio Andy*, after host Andy Cohen asked him if he'd been aware at the time that the film would flop.

"When you were on the press tour for *Fantastic Four*, is it safe to surmise that y'all knew that the movie was not great?" Cohen asked.

Teller laughed and said that when someone does a Southern accent, they can say things "a little more cutting."

Then he switched to his regular speaking voice.

"Yeah, I think it's unfortunate for that, because so many people worked so hard on that movie," Teller said. "And, honestly, maybe there was one really important person who kind of f---ked it all up."

While Teller did not name the person, Josh Trank, who directed the movie, memorably posted on social media just ahead of its release that it had been better, but would not be seen in that form.

"A year ago, I had a fantastic version of this," he wrote and deleted. "And it would've received great reviews. You'll probably never see it. That's reality though."

Teller said he was especially disappointed by the movie's underwhelming performance because, at the time, young actors who wanted to "be taken seriously as a leading man" needed to play a superhero.

"And that was our chance," Teller said. "The casting, I thought, was spectacular. I love all those actors."

But the movie was panned by critics — it currently has a rancid nine percent score on Rotten Tomatoes — and it was considered a financial flop.
