"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice's daughter Milania Giudice is speaking out about her recent arrest.
Over a month after news broke that the 20-year-old was arrested for assault, she addressed the incident in a June 28 TikTok video. Saying stuff "happens in life and it is what it is," Giudice explained how she is moving forward.
"You gotta learn from it, just become a better person and talk about it," she said. "I just was not in a good area in my life, and you know what, that happens. I've been through a lot in life, and some other stuff happened to me. Just because you guys think you know everything that happens in my life, you just really don't."
She also revealed an alleged mugshot of her circulating online was made using artificial intelligence and joked, "I ate down in my mug shot. I was fire. I mean, nothing to be proud of, but I'm making sure of that." Giudice captioned the post, "Peace and love."
Giudice was charged with one count of simple assault purposely or knowingly causing bodily injury on May 14, according to court records obtained by USA TODAY. The details of the alleged incident are unknown and records indicate no plea has been publicly entered. Giudice posted a TikTok the day of her arrest to a sound that said, "You are a diva. A young, beautiful diva."

Look back at the Giudice family's legal troubles
Milania Giudice is one of four daughters reality star Teresa Giudice and her ex-husband Joe Giudice share, along with Gia, 25, Gabriella, 22, and Audriana, 16. The family first appeared on Bravo's "RHONJ" in its debut season in 2009, when Milania Giudice was just 9.
Cameras have continued to document their lives over the years, including Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice's prior legal battle over charges for financial crimes that ultimately landed them behind bars. The former couple pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and three types of bankruptcy fraud in March 2014 after racking up $5 million in mortgages and construction loans.
Teresa Giudice served 11 months of a 15-month sentence in 2015. Joe Giudice, who also pleaded guilty to failing to file a 2004 tax return, began his 41-month sentence after his then-wife's release.
When he finished serving his time in 2019, Joe Giudice, an Italian citizen, was deported to Italy. Although he moved to the United States as an infant, he never applied for citizenship and remained a lawful permanent resident or green card holder, which can be taken away if a person commits certain crimes.
