Dusty May is leaving Michigan and that has caused interesting and intense reactions from both fans and media on social media.
News broke on Monday morning that May is leaving the Wolverines after two seasons to become the next head coach of the Dallas Mavericks. The move was relatively out of nowhere, with many assuming May would be back for his third season at the helm of the Wolverines. That surprise has generated a ton of buzz on social media.
In his short time with Michigan, May quickly elevated the Wolverines to a national championship this past season and back to being one of the top programs in the country. Michigan was expected to again contend for a title next season but that of course could change with May's departure.
