Their split comes amid months of speculation about their relationship struggles and differing priorities

“She just doesn’t want the drama in her life right now,” the insider says

Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson have ended their engagement.

A source exclusively tells PEOPLE that the former couple has split after going through a difficult period for months. Osbourne, 41, and Wilson, 49, first began dating in January 2022 and welcomed their son Sidney later that year. They got engaged three years later in July 2025.

“There is no secret that she’s not happy with him. They’ve had a lot of back and forth,” the source tells PEOPLE. “They’re not together right now.”

The insider adds that Osbourne’s “priority” is her mother and that “she wants to stay close to Sharon.” Osbourne is also “very focused” on being the “best mom she can be” to her 3-year-old son.

“She just doesn’t want the drama in her life right now,” the source says. “Sid has a lot he needs to work through on his own.”

PEOPLE reached out to representatives for Osbourne and Wilson for comment.

The news of their split comes two days after Osbourne posted several cryptic messages about parenting on her Instagram Stories that appeared to be directed at Wilson.

“Strange how the loudest defense of the guilty is rarely innocence… It’s distraction,” she wrote. “When the mask slips, they don’t face the mirror they throw it at someone else.”

Osbourne then added, “My son’s little heart once beat right beside mine. So trust me when I say… I will protect it at all costs.”

“My job is to protect my kids. Not your feelings. Not your expectations. Not judgments I didn’t ask for,” her Instagram Stories continued. “My responsibility is to protect their wellbeing. Their nervous systems. Their emotional safety.”

“I will choose them every single time. Over anyone. Over everything,” the post continued. Osbourne concluded her series of posts, writing, “Also, while I’m at it, can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?”

The Monday, Aug. 3 Instagram Stories followed the speculation in March that Osbourne and Wilson had called off their engagement. At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the couple was navigating a tough time in their relationship.

“She’s been in a challenging headspace for several reasons. It’s been very emotional for her. She’s had a lot going on,” the insider told PEOPLE in March.

“Ozzy’s death still affects her deeply. She’s very focused on being there for her mom right now. They’re incredibly close, and that’s been her priority,” the source said in reference to the late Black Sabbath singer’s death in July 2025.

“It’s been hard for Kelly and Sid to balance everything, especially with different priorities about where to spend time,” the source added. “This has put a strain on their relationship.”

A familiar face stepped back between the ropes before the August 4 edition of WWE NXT, as former NXT Tag Team Champion Wesley Blake made a surprise in-ring return during a dark match at the WWE Performance Center.

While the bout wasn’t part of the televised broadcast, it marked a notable milestone after years away from active competition.

Blake has spent the last two years helping shape NXT’s future behind the scenes, but this time, he traded the producer’s headset for wrestling boots.

Wesley Blake returns to WWE ring before NXT broadcast

According to PWInsider, Blake faced Kale Dixon in one of three dark matches taped before NXT went live on The CW. Dixon had reportedly spent time taunting the veteran before the two squared off, leading to Blake accepting the challenge.

Dixon ultimately picked up the victory with a roll-up while using Blake’s feet on the ropes for leverage following a distraction. Even in defeat, the match carried significance, as it was Blake’s first WWE bout since his release in April 2021 and his first match anywhere since a 2023 independent appearance alongside Steve Maclin at West Coast Pro.

Longtime fans will remember Blake as one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions alongside Buddy Murphy, now known as Buddy Matthews in AEW. Managed by Alexa Bliss, the pair held the titles for 205 days in 2015 before Blake later joined Steve Cutler and Jaxson Ryker in The Forgotten Sons, a faction that eventually moved to SmackDown.

Since returning to WWE in April 2024, Blake has worked as an NXT producer and Performance Center coach, focusing on developing the next generation of talent. His unexpected appearance sparked speculation about whether more matches could follow, although WWE has not announced any future in-ring plans.

For now, Blake’s return appears to be a one-off appearance. Still, after years spent coaching from ringside, the former champion proved he can still answer the bell. Sometimes the best comeback doesn’t need championship gold — it just needs the ring bell to ring again.

Katey Sagal said that when she began her relationship with Kurt Sutter, he said, “I don’t wanna have any kids.”

The actress warned Sutter, “I have about five minutes left if you wanna have kids” since she is six years older than him.

Sagal and Sutter eventually welcomed a daughter, Esmé, via surrogate.

Katey Sagal is reflecting on becoming a mother again in her fifties.

The Married…With Children actress, 72, shared her experience welcoming her third child, EsmĂ©, via a surrogate.

“My husband is six years younger than I am,” she said of her spouse Kurt Sutter during a conversation with Ted Danson on his podcast Where Everybody Knows Your Name. “And when we met, he was like, ‘I don’t wanna have any kids.’ And I was like, ‘Okay, ‘cause I have about five minutes left if you wanna have kids.’”

Sagal said that Sutter changed his mind several years into their relationship.

“About five years in, we started really talking about it, and so we did the whole surrogate process,” she said. “This is EsmĂ©, my sweet EsmĂ©, who’s 19. She’s my favorite right now. Kids, I love you all.”

The actress also shares two children with her late ex-husband Jack Cameron White: Sarah Grace White, 31, and Jackson White, 30. Sarah works as a musician, while Jackson is an actor in projects like Hulu’s Tell Me Lies.

“My oldest daughter has made the most beautiful record that she wrote and produced,” Sagal shared on the podcast. “She’s amazing. And just to see the process of how you have to be able to market yourself now…labels used to…give you money so you could just be an artist and they do all the selling. And now it’s just a very different world for young artists. It’s hard.”

Sagal said that she has learned to bite her tongue when she wants to offer feedback on her children’s artistic endeavors.

“What I’ve really learned lately is to say things like, ‘I have some thoughts about that. Would you like to hear it?’” she said. “And then if they say, ‘No, Mom, I don’t want to hear it,’ then I have to follow suit.”

That was particularly challenging when Sarah shared rough cuts of her album with the Sons of Anarchy star, who began her career as a musician and released three solo albums after finding success as an actress.

“When my daughter was making her record, she would send me mixes, rough mixes. I had a bunch of notes,” she said. “And I would really have to pick and choose what [to say], because I just felt like I know that world.”

Sagal said that her kids wonder why she continues pursuing so many acting jobs at this stage of her career.

“Their only thing to me is, ‘Mom, you’ve been working for so many years, why don’t you just chill for a while?’” she shared. “I’m like, ‘You guys, I like to work. That is chill for me. I don’t like all the down time. And I don’t really know what else I would do.’”

She also noted that her kids are heavily invested in her career.

“They’re really proud,” she said. “They’re the first ones I call when I get a good job.”

In its piece, the business magazine also noted that the king of manosphere could potentially make way more moola. “Joe Rogan reigns as the world’s highest-paid podcaster by pairing deep listener trust with massive scale, releasing around 15 episodes per month and attracting more than 80 million downloads and views, according to one data provider,” Forbes wrote. “In 2024, Spotify rewarded him with a new three-year contract that could reach $250 million.”

Jeff Bottari / Getty ImagesThe My Horizontal Life author was flabbergasted by the $82 million sum. “WHO IS PAYING JOE ROGAN 82 million?” an incensed Handler wrote in the comment section of Forbes’ Instagram post promoting its list. “Give that to our vets, or our children!!!”

After naming two groups of people Handler felt was more deserving of that kind of payday — she expressed disgust that the former Fear Factor host is getting that kind of money for his… uh, “work.” “82 million to be completely uninformed and say ‘whoopsie doodle,’ every time he’s wrong, which is FREQUENT?” Handler wrote on Instagram.

@chelseahandlerHandler does have a point. Although in recent years Rogan has been more critical of President Donald Trump — especially in regards of dragging the country into a war with Iran — he is still widely considered a polarizing personality. He helped normalize many of MAGA’s more troublesome beliefs, including spreading misinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic and has been called out to his face about legitimizing “dangerous” people with “shit ideas” like conspiracy theorist Ian Carroll.

Despite Rogan’s massive influence, he rarely takes accountability when he gets things wrong. Last year, Rogan was completely duped by a very silly AI video of Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz dancing sassily down an escalator — and wanted the video to be real so badly, that he gave his producer push back after he was informed that it was fake.

Anadolu / Getty ImagesAfter some back-and-forth with his producer who pointed out multiple reasons why the video was very clearly AI-generated, Rogan eventually said: “Do you know why I fell for it? Because I believe that he’s capable of doing something that dumb.”

Anadolu / Getty ImagesHandler, to be fair, may be a bit biased as well. She made her opinion of MAGA-friendly bro comedians crystal clear earlier this year at Netflix’s roast for Kevin Hart in which she targeted comedian Tony Hinchcliffe — a frequent guest on Rogan’s podcast who gained notoriety after making a joke about Puerto Rico being a “floating island of garbage” at Trump rally in 2024.

After telling Hinchcliffe he had “mustard yellow” teeth, was capable of making women’s uteruses dry-heave and called out his blatant racism at the roast, Handler said: “If you’re here tonight, who’s keeping Joe Rogan’s balls warm in their mouth?”

Gianni Infantino was first elected Fifa president in 2016

Gianni Infantino has apologised for "errors" he made in controversial plans to sell off stakes in competitions to private investors, but will remain Fifa president after receiving the backing of senior executives in a meeting in Morocco.

Infantino summoned members of the management board to Fifa's Africa office in Rabat on Wednesday following mounting criticism of his aborted proposals, with world football's governing body releasing a statement of support four hours after the meeting ended.

European football's governing body Uefa said at the weekend that it has lost confidence in Infantino, calling the Fifa Forward Enterprise (FFE) proposal a "shabby, back room, opaque deal".

Much criticism has come from within Fifa, including secretary general Mattias Grafstrom, who was at Wednesday's meeting. In an internal memo sent to Fifa staff on Tuesday, he wrote that the situation is "a sad and reproachable series of events".

However, in a statement following the meeting, Grafstrom and the managament board "reaffirmed their full support" for Infantino as president.

Infantino and Grafstrom also sent a signed letter - seen by the BBC - to Fifa's vice-presidents, council and 211 member associations saying they "sincerely apologise" for their errors and "commit to them not happening again".

The two were pictured attending a Women's Africa Cup of Nations match together in Rabat after the meeting.

Infantino had offered all associations $40m (£30m) if they backed a proposal for private investment in its tournaments, including the men's and women's World Cups, through a new subsidiary, FFE.

Fifa said that during Wednesday's meeting "mistakes" regarding FFE were "acknowledged", saying it was "not the intention" for the Fifa council and members association to "feel excluded from the process and that the process should have been handled differently".

The governing body added it "acknowledged that errors were also made after the proposal was leaked to media" - with the Times breaking the story of Infantino's plan on 28 July.

However, the statement also said the organisation "will no longer tolerate any attacks on its integrity, good governance and due process and will take all necessary measures to protect and safeguard its name and reputation".

Earlier, Fifa denied a story in the Times that Infantino had promised Morocco it will host the 2030 World Cup final in exchange for its support.

Fifa said it was a "false and misleading" claim and that a decision on where to hold the final, with the tournament also hosted by Spain and Portugal, will be made "in due course".

Courting controversy and befriending Trump - the story of Fifa boss Infantino

Infantino calls executive meeting as criticism mounts

Infantino opponents threaten 'non co-operation' with Fifa

Internal support after more criticism

Infantino will hope that this begins to draw a line under the latest, and perhaps biggest, controversy that has beset his 10-year tenure.

However, this show of support from Fifa executives followed yet more stinging criticism of the Swiss.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, whose country hosted the recent World Cup with the United States and Mexico, said he no longer had confidence in Infantino.

Former Barcelona, Real Madrid and Portugal winger Luis Figo, who ran for the Fifa presidency against Infantino's predecessor Sepp Blatter in 2015 before withdrawing, called on him to immediately resign.

Figo said: "Infantino has debased the office that he promised to elevate.

"It is too late to save his dignity but it is not too late to save football."

But Infantino, 56, looks set to fight for re-election for a fourth term.

Rivals have until 18 November to put their names forward to stand against him, with the election to be held at the Fifa Congress in Morocco in March 2027.

A candidate requires 106 votes from Fifa's 211 members to win.

Uefa, however, may well have other ideas.

At the weekend, European football's governing body said it had lost confidence in Infantino's leadership and threatened legal action against Fifa.

Earlier this week several member associations - including Wales, with England set to follow suit - withdrew support for his re-election.

Fifa also said that although "mistakes were made, everything that was done was done in full compliance with the Fifa regulatory framework". It added it felt the outcomes of the meeting will "strengthen Fifa's governance" and "restore confidence in the organisation".

It is unlikely that such statements and the approval of a group of executives will dampen Uefa's anger.

How could Uefa react?

Uefa has been quick to react to every twist and turn ever since Infantino's FFE plan emerged.

From the initial rejection of FFE, to the seismic moment when all 55 member associations threatened to boycott Fifa's competitions, through to the effective vote of no confidence.

But Uefa has a problem, and it is not an insignificant hurdle to overcome.

Since Infantino performed his U-turn, only Concacaf as a confederation has criticised the Fifa president. But, unlike Uefa, it did not go as far as to say it had lost confidence in him.

While the Asian confederation did reject the plan, there has been no blanket statement since Infantino aborted it.

Uefa has a great deal of power, but it cannot realistically overthrow Infantino on its own. It needs more global support.

Outside of Europe, so far only Jordan - one of a handful of the 211 member associations not to have signed a letter of support for Infantino's re-election before this controversy - have publicly called for him to go.

The list of countries who have underscored their support is much longer - admittedly from within Infantino's firm power base in Asia and Africa.

In recent days Egypt, Morocco, Niger, Mauritania, DR Congo and the Philippines have all backed Infantino.

Such countries have benefited from funding via Infantino's Fifa Forward programme, the forerunner to FFE, to the tune of $8m (£5.94m) in each three-year cycle.

Uefa has to find a way to persuade such countries that another presidential candidate can offer the same financial programmes, but with greater transparency and reform.

Infantino, however, already has their loyalty.

How can Infantino turn things around?

All the other recent controversies could not touch Infantino - from the way Saudi Arabia won the hosting rights to the 2034 World Cup, to US President Donald Trump's Fifa Peace Prize, to Folarin Balogun's escape from suspension at the World Cup.

This time, an attempt to sell off a slice of the commercial and ticketing rights of Fifa's competitions was a step too far for many.

Not simply because of the optics of such a move, but also that it was kept secret from other senior members of the Fifa hierarchy and that the beneficiary of the deal would have been Joshua Kushner - the brother of Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law.

So Infantino had bridges to build with those closest to him, not just with the 211 national associations.

Carlos Cordeiro, Infantino's senior adviser on global strategy and governance, quit over the plan.

Others who were critical opted not to tender their resignations, such as Grafstrom, chief of global football development Arsene Wenger and chief operating officer Kevin Lamour.

It is likely there will be others within the corridors of power at Fifa who kept their counsel.

On top of this, Infantino may also have to map out - or could offer - a route for reform.

This may involve putting additional checks and balances in place that would make it impossible for such a plan to be devised and presented in this way again.

Perhaps he could shelve his plans for a 64-team World Cup? Or offer to open up Fifa's cash reserves?

Aug 5 (Reuters) - Faux meat-products maker Beyond Meat forecast third-quarter revenue above Wall Street estimates on Wednesday, as resilient demand in its international segment helped counter declining U.S. sales.

Here are the details:

• Beyond Meat, which struggled to revive the initial enthusiasm for its plant-based products, has been rolling out new products such as Beyond Immerse protein drinks to drum up demand.

• The company expects third-quarter revenue of $60 million to $65 million, the midpoint of which is above analysts' average estimate of $62.2 million, according to data compiled by LSEG.

• Quarterly loss came in at 9 cents per share on an adjusted basis, compared with a loss of 39 cents a year ago.

• Beyond Meat posted revenue of $68.8 million for the second quarter, beating estimates of $62.4 million.

• Sales at its international retail segment rose 16.5% in the quarter ended June 30 from a year ago.

• The company posted a 14.4% fall in its quarterly U.S. sales, hurt by weaker consumer spending and a preference for healthier alternatives.

• Beyond Meat's shares, which experienced a meme-stock frenzy last year, were down 3% in extended trading following the results.

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Many employees and early investors in SpaceX could seize a maybe irresistible opportunity on Thursday - cashing out on huge gains from the stock as the company's first share lockup expires. Brokers expect a rush to realize those profits.

Insiders who acquired stakes in the space and AI company months or years before its June listing at a fraction of the $135 per share IPO price stand to make big gains with the lockup expiring, but their sales could add fresh pressure on the stock, which has slumped 49% from its June high.

Heavy selling is expected, but determining who is getting out or trimming stakes will be key to market sentiment on the company's prospects, fund managers, brokers and analysts said.

"This has to be the most talked-about lockup in the history of IPO lockups," said Robert Hackel, CEO of institutional brokerage firm R.F. Lafferty & Co.

He has been fielding calls from pre-IPO investors eager to use the opportunity to sell some of their SpaceX holdings in order to snap up privately traded stock in other IPO candidates such as AI giants Anthropic and OpenAI and defence technology startup Anduril Industries.

"You are going to see a lot of exits," he said.

SpaceX's employees and early investors are "sitting on such massive gains that they'll have a very strong incentive to realize a return and diversify their holdings," said Matt Kennedy, senior strategist at Renaissance Capital, a provider of IPO-focused research and investment funds.

While CEO Elon Musk owns about a 42% stake in the company, he is barred from selling his shares until one year after the IPO under a separate lockup agreement. Musk did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Many employees will be able to sell shares beginning Thursday, but the company's executive officers remain subject to longer lockup agreements that generally do not begin to expire until after fourth-quarter results.

On Wednesday, SpaceX shares fell about 8.5% after it reported a stronger-than-expected 92% jump in revenue for the second quarter. They continued to trade lower even though CEO Bret Johnsen said on the earnings call that the company is on track to record annualized revenue of $100 billion by the end of the year.

The lockup expiry may be to blame, said Brian Mulberry, chief market strategist for Zacks Investment Management.

The selloff "seems more sentiment driven, as media reports are that many insiders will look to sell on the strong results this week as their shares become fully vested," Mulberry said.

SpaceX did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the expected selling following the first lockup expiry.

Lockups are common after IPOs, preventing insiders from selling shares for a set period. But SpaceX's is unusual because the banks staggered the releases over nearly a year rather than allowing billions of shares to become eligible on a single day. On Thursday, as many as 912 million of SpaceX's roughly 13.6 billion outstanding shares will become eligible for sale, more than doubling the company's current public float.

By the time the process is over in the middle of next year, an additional 12.9 billion shares will be freed up for trading.

The current float is so small that the first lockup expiry alone could more than double the number of shares available for trading, and if a price-based early-release provision is triggered, it could more than triple the public float.

"This time, it's a multiple of the shares outstanding that will make their way onto the market, not a fraction, so these lockups will be an interesting test of the commitment of early investors to stand by the company for the long haul," said Andrew Chanin, CEO of Procure AM, who manages the Procure Space ETF. The fund is tied to an industry index that invests about 6% of its assets in SpaceX.

A large sale by an early backer could send a strong sign about the level of confidence in SpaceX's outlook, said Lukas Muehlbauer, a research associate at IPOX.

Founders Fund, Craft Ventures, board member Antonio Gracias's Valor Equity Fund and Alphabet were among its early backers, according to PitchBook data at the time of SpaceX's IPO and their websites. They did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

To gauge the likelihood of a heavy selldown, Gabriel Shahin, founder of Falcon Wealth Planning, is tapping contacts among SpaceX insiders and employees. His takeaway: none appear eager to sell.

"They're long-term believers in SpaceX, and as a result we tend to be more bullish on insiders also not selling and what that says about the stock," he said.

But Shahin acknowledges that each of the upcoming lockup expiry dates is likely to make trading more turbulent. Already, SpaceX's volatility is making it difficult for many investors who want to protect themselves from any further declines to hedge as options prices reach levels that are "sheer insanity," Shahin said.
