Anne Hathaway has revealed she was "half blind" for a decade due to an undiagnosed cataract in her left eye.

Around the age of 40, the actress got surgery to restore her vision, and the result was a "miracle."

"I didn't realize how bad it had gotten until I could finally see the full spectrum," Hathaway said on Popcast.

Anne Hathaway is admitting she went under the knife — but no, not for a rumored facelift.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 star has revealed she had "miracle" surgery on one of her eyes within the last few years after struggling with her vision throughout her entire 30s.

"This is maybe too much information," Hathaway, 43, said on Popcast. "I was half blind for 10 years."

As the actress explained to hosts Jon Caramanica and Joe Coscarelli of The New York Times, she had an early onset cataract in her left eye, which clouded the natural lens.

"It impacted my vision so much that I was basically legally blind out of my left eye."

Around the age of 40, "I wound up getting surgery," continued Hathaway, a mom of two. "And I didn't realize how bad it had gotten until I could finally see the full spectrum… I appreciate vision because I literally feel like every day I wake up and I get to see the way that I do, it's a miracle. I actually am like, 'Oh, two generations back that wouldn't have been an option for someone like me.’ So I actually do feel very connected to that kind of a miracle."

Unbeknownst to the actress, the cataract was affecting more than just her vision during that decade.

"I didn't realize it was actually taxing my nervous system," revealed Hathaway, adding that since surgery "I've calmed down."

The "TMI" confession came about during Popcast's lightning round, in which she was asked which of the human senses would she choose to live without.

"This one stresses me out," admitted Hathaway. "This is a stressful question because, what I do for a living… I live by my senses."

Ultimately, she chose to hypothetically lose her sense of taste, since "I'm not a great cook."

"I'm a mom, like the smell of my children, you know," Hathaway explained. "When my oldest was born, I have this very very distinct core memory of that magic baby smell… I remember thinking, 'Oh, this is heaven.'"

Fresh off her role as Wednesday Addams in a pair of early-'90s Addams Family movies, Christina Ricci played Kat Harvey in *Casper*.

She's since built a celebrated body of work, with parts in cult faves (1998’s *Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas *and *Buffalo ’66*), Academy Award winners (*Monster*, 2003), animated fare (*The* *Smurfs 2*, 2013), and a handful of genre hits (1999’s *Sleepy Hollow*, 2021’s *The Matrix Resurrections*).

Ricci has also appeared in pivotal roles on some of the most popular series of the decade thus far, including *Yellowjackets* (for which she earned an Emmy nomination) and *Wednesday*. In March 2025, she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

During a 2022 appearance on the *WTF with Marc Maron* podcast, Ricci admitted she's not proud of her *Casper *performance. "If you actually watch *Casper*, I'm terrible in it,” she said. "People get so upset when I say that. Because I'm like, 'No, it's a wonderful movie.' ... It's a childhood treasure to people, but I am terrible in it."

She continued, "I just don't think I tried very hard, to tell you the truth. Embarrassingly, I have to say, I don't think I tried as hard as maybe I should have."

Former teen heartthrob Devon Sawa briefly appeared at the end of *Casper*, playing the titular ghost's human form.

In a 2021 interview with **, Sawa said his *Casper *role "means a lot" to him. He recalled how his audition tape reached executive producer Steven Spielberg and how his grandmother went to set with him when he landed the part. "She could not care less about [Spielberg] because she was in this world where there was a roller coaster and a big house built in the stage. It was a magical time."

The actor went on to star in turn-of-the-century horror hits* Idle Hands* (1999) and *Final Destination** *(2000), and has been busy in recent years with *Chucky*, *Hacks*, *Black Friday *(2021), and *Heart Eyes* (2025). He will next star in a reboot of *Return of the Living Dead* (2026).

Bill Pullman played widowed dad and paranormal therapist Dr. James Harvey in *Casper*.

In a 2024 interview with *Variety*, Pullman recalled Steven Spielberg warning him that — because of needed digital effects — one wrong move in his sword-fight scene could cost the studio *a lot *of money. "If I didn't do it right, if I moved [the toilet punger sword] through something where a ghost was supposed to be, it was $100,000," he said. "This is what Spielberg said, 'Be very careful, Bill, because you could bankrupt us.'"

Following *Casper*, he played the U.S. president in sci-fi blockbuster *Independence Day* (1996) and reprised the role in its 2016 sequel. The agile and ever-fascinating actor went on to appear in a diverse range of projects, from David Lynch's bracing *Lost Highway *(1997) and Denzel Washington's *The Equalizer* franchise to TV series like *Torchwood: Miracle Day *and *The Sinner*.

Pullman has quite a few projects lined up, including *Spaceballs: The New One*, where he'll reprise his role as Lone Starr and share the screen with his real-life son, Lewis Pullman.

Cathy Moriarty (Catherine "Carrigan" Crittenden)

During a 2024 appearance on *The Potential *podcast, Moriarty called *Casper *"a little bit of its own masterpiece" and said she was "honored and privileged" to be part of the movie.

She returned to the franchise in *Casper Meets Wendy* (1998) and also appeared in *But I'm a Cheerleader *(1999), the *Law & Order* franchise, *Patti Cake$* (2017), and *The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story*.

Beyond acting, Moriarty co-owns the acclaimed Mulberry Street Pizzeria chain.

He continues to act in both comedy and drama projects, with credits like *Til Death*, *Fargo*, *Single Parents*, and *Saturday Night* (2024) to his name.

A frequent Pixar collaborator, Garrett's voice can be heard in* A Bug's Life* (1998), *Finding Nemo *(2004), *Ratatouille *(2007), *Finding Dory* (2016), and *Elio *(2025).

As of 2026, he still performs stand-up regularly at his Las Vegas venue, Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club.

Joe Nipote voiced Uncle Stretch, the rowdy leader of the Ghostly Trio, in *Casper*. Fans may also know him for starring as Frankie Waters on the sci-fi action series *Viper*.

In a 2019 interview with 8 News Now, Nipote recalled auditioning "five or six times" for *Casper*. During the final audition, which required ad-libbing and improv, he was paired with an actor who, according to Nipote, "was not a comedian" or an "improv guy."

As the actor rambled on, Nipote, in character as Stretch, became so frustrated that he told him to "shut the F up." The bold move not only won him the part but also earned praise from Spielberg himself, who told Nipote on set that he wanted Stretch played just like that.

Nipote later reprised Stretch on the animated TV spinoff, *The Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper*. He also guested on shows like *Curb Your Enthusiasm*,* The Suite Life on Deck*, and *Adam Ruins Everything*.

Idle also penned the book and lyrics for the Broadway hit *Spamalot*, in addition to co-writing the musical. Following the musical's 2005 debut, it took home three Tony awards and a Grammy.

In recent years, Idle revealed he survived pancreatic cancer and continues working in show business. "I don't know why people always assume we're loaded," he wrote on X in 2024. "Python* *is a disaster. *Spamalot *made money 20 years ago. I have to work for my living. Not easy at this age."

Henson eventually stepped away from acting, and, according to his LinkedIn profile, earned an MFA from Columbia University in 2015. He's since worked as a director's assistant on Netflix shows like *Iron Fist*, *The Punisher*, and *Curse of Bridge Hollow*, and was an associate producer for the horror film *Imaginary* (2024). Now, he works as a creative executive for Tower of Babble Entertainment.

Henson briefly returned to the screen in 2021 to reprise his *Mighty Ducks *role on the Disney+ series *The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers*.

Maluma revealed he experienced panic attacks after 14 years of nonstop touring and sought therapy to heal

His new album Loco X Volver is inspired by his Colombian roots and reflects his personal growth

"This project is the deepest part of my soul and my heart," he said on the Jennifer Hudson Show

Maluma is getting candid about his experience with panic attacks.

Earlier this month, the Colombian singer appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show to discuss his newly released album Loco X Volver— and revealed what he discovered about himself along the way.

"I've been working on new music and this new project for almost two years," Maluma, 32, said. "This is in honor of my grandparents, my culture, my city, my music from Colombia."

"I've been touring for almost 14 years in a row and I decided to stop and just pay attention and tried to find myself again," he continued. "That's when [my daughter] Paris was born. And at the end of 2024, I started feeling panic attacks that I never had before and that actually changed my life."

After experiencing panic attacks for the first time, the "Borro Cassette" singer (born Juan Luis Londoño Arias) said he dove into therapy and his music.

"This project is the deepest part of my soul and my heart. And for sure I never experienced this before," Maluma said. "I feel good now. I don't have any panic attacks anymore, I feel amazing. I feel super excited about this project."

"It's a good season for me. I'm enjoying it for sure," he added.

Maluma welcomed his first child, daughter Paris, with girlfriend Susana Gómez in March 2024.

In July of that year, the "Sobrio" singer told Allure that "everything changed" after welcoming his daughter.

"Now, I wake up every day with the desire to conquer the world. I know I have to f---ing kill it," he said at the time. "For Paris, nothing is impossible. You have to lead by example. ... I want to make her proud."

Earlier this month, Maluma revealed he's now expecting his second baby on his Instagram. He later revealed to Billboard that the baby is a boy.

Following the release of his 14-track album, Maluma performed "Tu Recuerdo" at the 2026 American Music Awards with a full salsa band.

The Walt Disney World resort is debuting seven new attractions today, May 26

Disney's Hollywood Studios is inviting guests to experience the Muppets on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Walt Disney Studios Courtyard and Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!

Other additions include a Bluey experience at Animal Kingdom and Soarin' Across America at EPCOT

The magic is reaching new heights today at Walt Disney World as the resort is debuting seven major attractions sure to keep guests entertained all summer long.

Disney World is bringing something new to all four theme parks today, May 26, including the reimagining of some previously beloved attractions as well as some completely new offerings.

The biggest changes are coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios where Rock ‘n' Roller Coaster is making a return following a more than two-month closure for retheming. The ride, which previously starred Aerosmith, had its final day of operation on March 1. But now, the Muppets are taking over G-Force studios as they rush to get Animal and the Electric Mayhem band to their biggest Hollywood concert ever.

On the ride, guests will be jamming out to one of five selections from The Electric Mayhem's extensive catalog including “Song 2,” “Born to Be Wild” featuring Camilla the Chicken, “Love Rollercoaster” with Jennifer Hudson and Questlove, “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” accompanied by Def Leppard and “Walking on Sunshine” with Kelly Clarkson.

The queue also features an adorable encounter with the world's first audio-animatronic Scooter, who attempts to convince the band to stop grooving and leave to make their concert on time.

Elsewhere in the park, Disney is also reopening Walt Disney Studios Courtyard, previously Animation Courtyard. The reimagined space takes inspiration from the real Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, Calif. Throughout the area, guests can find landscaping, studio-inspired architecture and Easter eggs from the company's beloved animated feature films, including Chinese Theater-style hand and footprints in the cement and statues of animated animals.

Guests will also find the larger-than-life Sorcerer Mickey's hat that previously graced the park. On top of the new Magic of Disney Animation attraction, the hat stands tall on top of another future attraction set to debut later this summer. Inside, guests can meet six of their favorite characters and try the new Animation Academy experience with Olaf Draws!

Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! at Disney's Hollywood Studios

In the same area, starting today, guests can experience Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! The show follows Mickey and Minnie Mouse as they are ready to host a big bash, but their friends are nowhere to be found. Before you know it, Goofy, Daisy Duck and Pluto will be there to bring the clubhouse celebration to life.

King of New York: Jalen Brunson has led the Knicks back to the NBA Finals. And he's not done yet

CLEVELAND — There would be no late-game heroics on Monday night. No pivoting, feinting and head-and-shoulder-shimmying his way into a fraction of a sliver of space — just enough to unfurl a feathery off-balance floater.

No hunting his preferred quarry in the pick-and-roll without compunction or remorse, again and again, to carry his team out of a fourth-quarter deficit. No pulled-from-your-wildest-childhood-dreams fadeaway jumpers over two outstretched hands with the clock draining down to zero.

Jalen Brunson wasn’t on the court to deliver in crunch time on Monday night — he watched the entire fourth quarter from the bench, actually — because there was no crunch time for him to dominate in Game 4 in Cleveland, which the Knicks won by 37. Just like there wasn’t in Game 4 in Philadelphia, which the Knicks won by 30. Or in Game 6 in Atlanta, which the Knicks won by 51.

There was no crunch time for him to dominate because when the 2025-26 New York Knicks see an opening to exploit, they don’t hesitate to hammer it, and when they have the opportunity to go for the throat, they seize it. They behave that way because attitude reflects leadership, and because Jalen Brunson — measured and unassuming with the media, king of the anodyne quote — is a stone-cold killer between those four lines.

This team follows his lead. He has now led the Knicks farther than anybody has in this millennium: to the NBA Finals. And he’s not done yet.
