HOUSTON (AP) — Reed Sheppard scored 27 points on a career-high nine 3-pointers, Alperen Sengun added 25 points and the Houston Rockets beat the short-handed Milwaukee Bucks 119-113 on Wednesday night for their fourth straight victory.

Kevin Durant finished with 19 points and nine assists, Amen Thompson had 18 points, nine rebounds and six assists and Jabari Smith Jr. scored 12 points for the Rockets. They shot 47% from the field, going 18 of 42 on 3-pointers.

Houston had 30 assists on 41 field goals and forced the Bucks into 15 turnovers that they converted into 18 points.

Ousmane Dieng had a career-high 36 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists for Milwaukee. Cormac Ryan had a season-high 25 points, Pete Nance added a career-high 23. AJ Green had 15 points and eight rebounds.

The Bucks shot 47% and were 17 of 40 on 3-pointers. They made 10 3-pointers in the third as they cut Houston's 20-point lead to seven by the end of the quarter.

Gary Trent Jr. exited with a hip contusion with 4 1/2 minutes left in the first after hitting the ground hard while diving for a loose ball at midcourt. He walked to the locker room holding his right side. Trent's exit left the Bucks with seven available players after Ryan Rollins was ruled out with a right hip strain.

Down 112-100 with 3 1/2 minutes left in the fourth, the Bucks reeled off eight straight to close within four on two free throws by Dieng. Sengun made two free throws to push the lead to six with 1:06 remaining.

After the teams traded baskets, Jericho Sims made 1 of 2 free throws, but after the Bucks stole the ball, Ryan missed a 3-pointer. Houston got the rebound, and Sengun made 1 of 2 free throws with 16 seconds left to push the lead back to six.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — OG Anunoby had 25 points and 13 rebounds, Karl-Anthony Towns had 20 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for his fourth triple-double of the season, and the New York Knicks beat the Memphis Grizzlies 130-119 on Wednesday night.

Mikal Bridges added 24 points as New York snapped a three-game losing streak.

GG Jackson led Memphis with 20 points, Olivier-Maxence Prosper added 17 and Cedric Coward finished with 15 points.

The Knicks sit in third place in the Eastern Conference, a game and a half ahead of the Cavaliers, who were idle Wednesday night.

The Knicks took an early lead, missing only two of their first 15 shots. New York scored 22 points in the paint and had an 11-2 advantage on the boards in the first quarter. New York shot 71% overall, including 7 of 10 from outside the arc, in the first half and took a 79-62 lead at halftime.

The 79 points were a season-high for a Knicks first half and just short of the 83 New York scored in the second half against Minnesota on Nov. 5.

The Grizzlies were outrebounded 49-20 in the game, the 20 boards a franchise low.

The Grizzlies cut the Knicks' lead to 90-87 in the third quarter before the Knicks pulled ahead to lead 99-90 entering the fourth.

The Grizzlies were again short-handed with injuries throughout their roster. And earlier Wednesday, forward Brandon Clarke, who has missed most of this season recovering from knee surgery and a right calf strain, was arrested in Arkansas on drug and reckless driving charges.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Gavin Williams struck out 10 in seven scoreless innings, outpitching World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and José Ramírez hit his first home run of the season to lead the Cleveland Guardians past the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-1 on Wednesday.

Gabriel Arias also went deep for the Guardians, who took two of three games in the series from the two-time defending champions.

Williams (1-1) walked three and allowed only two hits, both singles by Andy Pages. Freddie Freeman homered off Cade Smith with two outs in the ninth, spoiling Cleveland's shutout bid.

MIAMI (AP) — Sandy Alcantara never stopped believing in himself.

Not when Tommy John surgery robbed him of the 2024 season. Not when 2025 ended in a disappointing 11-12 record, and a 5.36 ERA.

Instead, he "always kept the faith."

Alcantara threw the first complete game of the MLB season in a 93-pitch shutout on Wednesday, leading the Miami Marlins to a 10-0 domination of the Chicago White Sox.

It was Alcantara's second career shutout with fewer than 100 pitches, known as a "Maddux" in honor of Hall of Famer Greg Maddux.

Alcantara also threw his 13th career complete game and fifth shutout.

"Many negative things happened last year but that didn't hold me back trying to be better," Alcantara said. "This year, I am going to give my best every time, win more games and be more aggressive in counts. Today, as a club, we did a tremendous job."

The White Sox did not have a hitter reach second as Alcantara (2-0) scattered three singles, hit a batter and struck out seven. After a dominant outing against Colorado in the season-opener, the 2022 NL Cy Young Award winner extended his scoreless streak to 15 innings.

Alcantara used six pitches to shut down the White Sox. Although his changeup and four-seam fastball were mostly used in his outing, Alcantara also utilized his slider, sweeper, sinker and cutter to carve through the Chicago lineup.

"Everything was working. Everything was good today," Alcantara said. "I think I did a great job, trying to not miss much."

Alcantara's battery mate Liam Hicks continued his torrid offensive start as he homered, had two singles and drove in four runs to give him a major league-leading 12 RBIs.

"It was fun," Hicks said of catching Alcantara's gem. "He had a lot of pitches working. When you're back there and he's rolling like that, it's cool to see. It makes your job catching easy."

As Alcantara accumulated quick outs, the decision became easier for manager Clayton McCullough to allow his ace to pitch the ninth. With Alcantara needing only three pitches to retire the White Sox in the eighth, it became an easy call.

"I gave him a thumbs up and he gave me a thumbs up," McCullough said.

He called the outing remarkable.

"It's hard to do that today, to go nine innings with how you view workload," McCullough said. "Hitters are good. He was so efficient and guys played great behind him."

There were 29 complete games thrown last season, and pitchers threw just 13 shutouts, the lowest in a non-shortened season since 1873.

"He hates when I say that, but it's actually the definition. If he comes near my stuff, it breaks," Gellar told her Ready or Not 2: Here I Come costar Samara Weaving in a conversation for Interview Magazine

Gellar and Prinze have been married for 23 years and share two children, Charlotte, 16, and Rocky, 13

Sarah Michelle Gellar poked fun at her husband Freddie Prinze Jr.'s relationship with technology in a new interview.

As she logged onto a video call to speak with her Ready or Not 2: Here I Come costar Samara Weaving for Interview Magazine, Gellar, 48, said, "I have a new computer, and I totally can't figure out how it works."

"I'm allergic to technology, I think," Weaving, 34, replied.

"I always call Freddie [Prinze Jr.] a Luddite and he hates when I say that, but it's actually the definition," Gellar said of her husband. "If he comes near my stuff, it breaks."

"I'm the Luddite," Weaving joked.

A Luddite is defined as "someone who is opposed or resistant to new technologies or technological change," per Dictionary.com.

In her recent PEOPLE cover story, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star opened up about her 23-year marriage with Prinze, 50, and how keeping their relationship private has helped its longevity.

"I always say I'm two people: I'm Sarah Michelle Gellar, and I'm Sarah Prinze," Gellar said. "They're different people." Sarah Prinze, she said, has "a quieter life and a private life."

"Our running joke is every year we have to look up when our anniversary is. Thankfully, People.com always reminds us!" she quipped. "Then we always get how many years confused. We know that we started dating in 2000, so that's easier."

In a July 2025 interview with Variety, Prinze revealed the key to keeping their marriage strong.

"Marriage is hard, no matter what business you're in. What works for us might not work for everyone else. We work at it," he said, adding, "I'm not perfect. She's not perfect. We piss each other off, but we respect one another."

The couple, who first met when they both starred in 1997's I Know What You Did Last Summer, will celebrate their 24th year of marriage in September. They share daughter Charlotte, 16, and son Rocky, 13.

Amanda Batula's newfound romance with Summer House costar West Wilson has thrown the entire cast for a loop.

"It's just a lot to take in," Amanda's estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, said during a Wednesday, April 1, TikTok interview with Adam Glyn. "It's not just me, Amanda, West, Ciara [Miller]. It's, like, our whole friend group. I mean, Carl [Radke is] a mess. It really does put into jeopardy what the show's about because you can't shoot Summer House if the vibes are off. We're not actors."

After weeks of speculation, Amanda, 34, and West, 31, confirmed their romance in a joint Tuesday, March 31, statement. (Amanda recently separated from Kyle, 43, while West casually dated Amanda's BFF Ciara, 30.)

"I think that show still has legs because there's just an amazing group of friends, all super dynamic [and in] different stages in life," Kyle said on Wednesday. "I think that, actually, the show will be a good show. There's just still so much to unpack with my 10-year relationship, so it's like we're watching a whole different movie while this other thing plays out [on the show]. It's a crazy feeling."

Summer House's Kyle Cooke Was 'Genuinely Blindsided' by Amanda Batula and West Wilson's Romance

The Summer House cast is gearing up to film its season 10 reunion, while Kyle, Amanda and Lindsay Hubbard are preparing to lead an In the City spinoff about their lives in Manhattan between summers in the Hamptons.

"When we started casting In the City, I think the idea was like, 'Maybe I'm part-time [on] Summer House, TBD,'" Kyle noted. "It was a way to continue on and kind of solidify our future on the network with a new show — if Amanda and I wanted to have kids, it's not such [an issue]. It's tough to go film Summer House with kids. Lindsay's done well [with her daughter, Gemma], but it ain't easy."

As for Kyle, he hasn't ruled out returning for more episodes of Summer House or In the City.

"There's no reason not to do Summer House, obviously every single year we go through the casting process," he told Glyn. "I think the real issue would be, 'Can we actually, as a group, film?' I've never had an issue with filming with anybody that I had beef with in 10 years. I would never do that to West, I would never do that to Hannah [Berner], but I have real issues with a dude that managed to use his charm to get whatever he wants, says the right thing at the right time."

Kyle Cooke Praised 'Friendships' With 'Summer House' Cast Months Before Amanda and West Reveal

Kyle further stressed that he wasn't insinuating that West "manipulated" Amanda while she was "in a vulnerable spot" and also didn't have many details about the pair's new romance.

Courtney Love has moved on from her feud with Dave Grohl — and she thinks everybody else should too.

The singer, 61, addressed past contention with the Foo Fighters frontman during a recent appearance on The Magnificent Others with Billy Corgan podcast on Wednesday, April 1.

While talking about being bad-mouthed in the press, Love encouraged Grohl, 57, to "come out with it and just say we're cool."

"Be man enough to man up," she said, before alleging that the rocker is "afraid" he'd "lose [his] audience" if he were to publicly support Love, the widow of his Nirvana bandmate Kurt Cobain.

The former Hole frontwoman continued: "It would really behoove me if the straight white males that are your base, if you will, stop picking on me. The millennials in particular. Gen Z is not picking on me anymore."

Corgan, for his part, noted that he's spent time with Grohl, and "can confirm that... Dave doesn't have any issue" with Love, who replied, "Say that to his base. It's so stupid."

She continued by pointing to the fact that Grohl has allegedly written several songs about her.

"I couldn't write a song about Dave Grohl to save my life," she said. "He's written like, four songs about me and they're hits. I'm like, wait what? Like, what about me? I don't get it."

A rep for Grohl did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

Grohl wrote the 1995 song "I'll Stick Around" about Love for the Foo Fighters' self-titled debut album. The song features the lyrics, "I've been around all the pawns you've gagged and bound / They'll come back and knock you down and I'll be free." He confirmed in a 2009 book that the track was, in fact, about Love.

He also allegedly wrote the 2007 song "Let It Die" about her.

"[It's] a song that's written about feeling helpless to someone else's demise," he told the Guardian that year. "I've seen people lose it all to drugs and heartbreak and death. It's happened more than once in my life, but the one that's most noted is Kurt. And there are a lot of people that I've been angry with in my life, but the one that's most noted is Courtney. So it's pretty obvious to me that those correlations are gonna pop up every now and again."

The "Everlong" singer was one of just a few people to attend Love and Cobain's 1992 wedding. But after Cobain died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in 1994, their friendship splintered.

Grohl publicly criticized Love's songwriting abilities in a 1999 interview with Howard Stern, per Far Out Magazine, and she later called him a "stupid motherf---er" in an interview with Spin, alleging that Cobain preferred playing with her band, Hole, more than Nirvana.

Love and Grohl were also engaged in a bitter legal battle over the rights to Nirvana's music, which ended in a 2002 settlement.

The two appeared to have mended fences by 2014, though, when they were seen hugging at Nirvana's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Shortly after, Love said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she and Grohl had "picked up where we left off after 20 years of suing each other."

"Me and Grohl, we're totally tight. And I mean look, if you can give up a grudge like that — because there was a lot of crap that went on — I think anyone can do it," she said.
