A crew member has died while shooting a low-budget horror movie in Louisiana.

James "Trapper" McEvoy, a grip who has worked on numerous major Hollywood productions in the Pelican State, died on Monday at 64 following an incident on the set of the film *Kill Me Now*. A cause of death was not immediately available.

** has reached out to representatives for the Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office and Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office for more information.

Lynn Gilman Williams, the lead producer on the film, mourned McEvoy in a statement shared with EW. "We are devastated by the tragic loss of James 'Trapper' McEvoy, a beloved member of the New Orleans film community," she wrote. "Our hearts go out to his family, friends and all who knew him and worked alongside him during this difficult time."

The JPSO told *Variety* that McEvoy died after coming into contact with an energized power line. The outlet reported that he was pronounced dead on the scene around 1 p.m. in Bridge City, La.

McEvoy's union, the IATSE Local 478, shared a statement about the incident on Tuesday, but did not immediately name McEvoy as the decedent.

"We are heartbroken by the loss of a crew member killed in a tragic incident while working on a production here in Louisiana," the union began in a statement on Instagram. "Our film community is close-knit, and when one of us is lost, the pain is felt by all. Our hearts are with the family, friends, and fellow crew members grieving this unimaginable loss."

The union went on to explain that it is working with IATSE International and the Entertainment Community Fund in order to ensure that "support services are available for those affected" by the incident.

"We believe every worker deserves to come home safe, and we remain committed to protecting the safety, dignity, and well-being of all crew members," the union's statement continued. "In the days ahead, we ask our union family and the greater film community to take care of one another. Reach out. Check in. Be there. Grief looks different for everyone, but we can get through it by showing up for each other with respect, compassion, and solidarity."

Jack Schlossberg is not a fan of Julia Fox's Halloween costume.

Schlossberg, who is the grandson of President John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy, took issue with the actress' ensemble, which she revealed on Thursday. The costume, which has made waves online, features Fox in a pink suit stained with fake blood, meant to resemble the former first lady shortly after the assassination of her husband.

Schlossberg didn't hold back on his thoughts on the get-up, slamming it on his social media on Friday. "Julia Fox glorifying political violence is disgusting, desperate and dangerous," he wrote. "I'm sure her late grandmother would agree."

Following similar backlash to the costume online, Fox responded with a post on her Instagram in which she insisted the look was not a costume, but "a statement." "When her husband was assassinated, she refused to change out of her blood-stained clothes, saying, 'I want them to see what they've done,'" she wrote. "The image of the delicate pink suit splattered with blood is one of the most haunting juxtapositions in modern history. Beauty and horror. Poise and devastation."**

She continued, "Her decision not to change clothes, even after being encouraged to, was an act of extraordinary bravery. It was performance, protest, and mourning all at once. A woman weaponizing image and grace to expose brutality. It's about trauma, power, and how femininity itself is a form of resistance."

The *Uncut Gems* star ended her post by writing, "Long live Jackie O," in addition to a heart emoji and credits to her glam squad.

Fox's look is a dead ringer for the infamous double-breasted wool suit Jackie was wearing on Nov. 22, 1963, when her husband, JFK, was shot and killed while they were both riding in a motorcade in Dallas.

As the actress alluded to in her remarks on social media, Jackie famously refused to take the bloody dress off, even though another had been picked out and was ready for her to wear. She was even photographed after her husband's death wearing it while standing next to Lyndon B. Johnson, who succeeded JFK as president.

Historian Steve Gillon told PEOPLE of the moment, "She went out in her blood stained suit and stood next to Lyndon Johnson. Despite these horrible circumstances, she was willing to stand for a photo because she understood what it meant for the nation to have continuity in government. She understood that she had a role to play in helping the nation transition to a new president."**

- Influencer Tricia Mpisi was drenched in champagne during a mishap at a *Wicked* screening in 2024.

- Mpisi said that Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande both helped clean her up and lift her spirits after the spill.

- The influencer thanked the actresses for their assistance: "They're such kind human beings."

Sometimes uncomfortable experiences can be changed for good.

Tricia Mpisi, a South African influencer who attended an early screening of *Wicked* in 2024, detailed how Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande rescued her from an unfortunate incident in which a glass of champagne spilled all over her.

In a TikTok reflecting on the experience posted Thursday, Mpisi said she was "supremely excited" to see the film and meet the actresses behind Elphaba and Glinda. "Until it came time to take a group picture," she explained. "As we say 'Cheese,' this glass spills on my head."

In footage capturing the incident, Erivo can be heard calling, "We need tissues, right now, right now!"

Mpisi recalled her panic as the chaos unfolded. "I looked down, and I see something break, and then before you know it, I feel something warm go into my eyes," she remembered. "And I also had mascara and makeup on."

Though she didn't melt into a puddle upon getting drenched, the champagne still brought a burning sensation. "The alcohol mixed with the mascara is burning my eyes," Mpisi explained. "And I'm a crybaby and a scaredy cat, okay? I don't know what's happening, I start to panic a little bit because I can't see."

But thank goodness, Mpisi received multiple helping hands. "As my eyes are closed and burning, I feel somebody hold me and they're like, 'This is Cynthia Erivo. We're gonna find you a chair now, okay? You're gonna be okay,'" she remembered. "I didn't know that it was champagne at the time. It could have been acid, as far as I was concerned, okay?"

Mpisi went on to explain that somebody sat her in a chair as Erivo held her. "I'm struggling to open my eyes, and I feel somebody wiping my eyes and my hands," she remembered. "I'm hearing their voices, and obviously I recognize Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande's voice. And both of them were so sweet and so kind and took the time to comfort me until I started to feel better and started smiling."

The influencer was remorseful about the champagne stains on her outfit. "Part of me was like, 'Oh no, I hate that my dress is ruined and now we're gonna go to the premiere,'" she said.

That's when the Good Witch of the North weighed in. "Ariana Grande was like, 'Oh don't worry, we can cancel the premiere,'" Mpisi said. "And then so I started to laugh, I was like, 'Really? You would cancel the premiere for me?' And she was like 'Yeah, I know a guy.' Literally, like Ariana Grande wiped me clean."

Mpisi also said Erivo ensured that she was champagne-free before the screening began. "She made sure that the alcohol was nowhere to be found," the influencer said of the *Widows* star. "And when I calmed down, she looked at me, and she was like, 'You're okay.' And I was like, 'I'm okay.'"

Mpisi said that she's not accustomed to strangers tending to each other's needs. "I live in South Africa, guys. People will literally watch somebody get mugged and be like, 'Eh, not my problem,' or they just don't wanna get involved for the sake of their own safety," she explained. "So the fact that Cynthia and Ariana did means a lot to me. I think they're such kind human beings."

The influencer continued, "They turned one of the most embarrassing moments into one of the most memorable, human moments of my life. So I really, really appreciate the kindness. I will remember this for a very long time. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, if you guys are watching, thank you so much for making me feel better."**

- Heidi Klum kept fans guessing all day with hints about her 2025 Halloween costume.

- The *Project Runway *star shared teases of herself wearing green paint and prosthetics.**

- The Queen of All Hallows' Eve unveiled her final look during her celebrity-filled costume party.

It's Halloween, which can only mean one thing: Heidi Klum is wowing the world with her latest transformation.

The Queen of All Hallows' Eve — who not only throws an all-out shindig for her famous friends but also notoriously goes for broke with her costumes, too — spent all day posting hints about this year's look ahead of the big reveal.

Finally, the *Project Runway* star stepped out at her annual celebrity-filled costume party in New York City just before the clock struck midnight to debut her final form — as a very creepy Medusa.**

Klum started teasing this year's get-up in a series of videos and photos posted to her Instagram on Friday.

In the first one, a set of seriously deranged-looking teeth were given a closeup, with the caption declaring, "Ok ….. here we go …. "

Klum followed that up with a video of stylists putting her hair into a high, slicked-back ponytail, while a third post highlighted the mind-boggling amount of tools and paints involved in the look.

Two more posts showed a green-faced Klum with her hair now covered in some sort of cap — meaning the ponytail tease was a red herring of a clue.

The follow-up tease showed someone holding a bunch of wires, insinuating that her costume likely has some animatronics involved.

And, the last update (for now), appeared to show Klum getting heavily wrinkled green prosthetics applied to her face, leading some fans to posit in the comment section that she's turning into the Grinch or Greta from *Gremlins 2*.

Another similar video gave an even closer look at these green prosthetics, which the makeup artist applied on top of her upper lip, instantly giving Klum a witchy look. The model comically wiggled her tongue back and forth as the artist worked his magic.

She later showed a close-up shot of her eye as someone helped insert a green contact with a reptilian pupil.**

After debuting her costume at her Halloween party that night, Klum added another post showing off the full transformation.

Earlier this week, Klum teased to PEOPLE, "I'm going to be very ugly because I always try to do something different."

Over the years, the model and TV star has gone as everything from E.T. to a giant worm to Fiona from Shrek and made it *werk*.

But when it came time to plan this year's look, Klum told PEOPLE, "I thought last year, I was very cute with my husband as E.T. And the year before that, we were the big peacock with performers. After the worm [in 2022] that felt so simple, I wanted to make something complicated. And with having 15 [performers as part of the costume], being so many bodies creating one thing, I thought that that was different again. So I hope I came up with something new again [this year]."

Last year, Klum revealed that she first started getting ready with husband Tom Kaulitz around 11 a.m. the day of her party. Klum told PEOPLE at the party that she decided to embody the Steven Spielberg character because he'd been "part of most of our lives" and she'd always been "a big fan."

"[I] kind of thought about the universe in a different way and I thought E.T. was so cute and how he was wiggling around and all the moments when E.T. got dressed up with a wig and everything so I just thought it would be fun to become E.T. and especially to see two," she said of last year's costume.**

It's the taking part that matters, so they say. And one New York City Marathon runner proved that with an unforgettable display of courage and determination.

At 12:30 a.m., long after the other 58,999 competitors had completed the 26.2-mile journey, the final runner approached the finish line. Venezuelan athlete Juan Pablo Dos Santos had spent more than 15 hours running on two prosthetic legs.

But he didn't finish alone — a large crowd of supporters had stayed to cheer him down the stretch. As he neared the end of the course, the energy was electric, with applause and cheers turning into song.

Juan Pablo Dos Santos finished carrying the Venezuelan flag, a symbol of pride and perseverance for him. For many watching, it was a reminder of what the marathon is really about: endurance, strength and community.

On Instagram, Dos Santos reflected on the response to the videos about his finish writing, "I'm simply GRATEFUL and HAPPY to see how the message has reached every corner – it fills me with love, strength, and the will to keep going!"

His achievement wasn't about medals, records, time or even where he placed — it was about showing what it means to refuse to quit, no matter how long the road is.

Goals from Phil Foden and Erling Haaland have Manchester City up 2-0 at halftime over Borussia Dortmund.

Haaland, who played three seasons with Dortmund before signing with City, now has 54 goals in 52 career Champions League appearances. His goal came seven minutes after Foden opened the scoring and celebrated by taking a selfie with a fan at the Etihad.

Haaland now has 18 goals in all competitions this season and is the first player to score in five consecutive Champions League matches for three different teams (Red Bull Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City).

In Belgium, Barcelona and Club Brugge combined for three goals in the opening 17 minutes of the match. Brugge are up 2-1 at halftime thanks to Carlos Forbs, who set up the first goal and later put the home side ahead.

Three other matches — Ajax-Galatasaray, Benfica-Bayer Leverkusen and Marseille-Atalanta — are nil-nil at the half, while a 45th minute Lautaro Martínez goal has Inter Milan up over Kairat 1-0.

In earlier matches, Pafos won its first match of the League Phase with a 1-0 victory over Villarreal. Derrick Luckassen was the hero for the Cypriot side after getting on the end of a 46th minute corner kick. Chelsea were saved against Qarabağ by Alejandro Garnacho during a 2-2 draw.
