To Lisa Kudrow, Friends is still funny after all these years.

The Comeback star discussed rewatching the hit sitcom during an interview on Wednesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live, noting one particular scene that made her lose it.

"It was last night or the night before where Alec Baldwin was in the episode, and I remember Alec Baldwin was there [filming]," she said of "The One in Massapequa," the season 8 episode that she recently revisited. "I didn't remember what we were doing. But we're at the Gellers' anniversary party, and Joey and Phoebe are talking, and Joey says, 'This is the worst party! I took forever to get to the buffet line. I get up there, and I almost slipped on a giant booger!'"

Of course, the slimy substance in question was no booger. "Phoebe had thrown an oyster on the floor," Kudrow said. "And just the thought that Joey thought a giant oyster was a booger that came out of someone's nose — I started crying, I was laughing so hard. Yes, tears."

Kudrow cracked up so hard that she felt compelled to contact her former costar Matt LeBlanc. "I had to text Matt, 'Oh my God!'" she said. "He's like, 'Yeah, we had laughs on that show.'"

The Romy and Michele's High School Reunion star previously revealed that she'd begun rewatching Friends after Matthew Perry's death in 2023. "Honestly, I wasn't able to watch it because it's too embarrassing to watch yourself," Kudrow told The Hollywood Reporter. "But if I make it about Matthew, then that's okay. And it's just celebrating how hilarious he was — and that is what I want to remember [about him]."

Kudrow reiterated that she's a little ashamed to be watching her own show during her conversation with Jimmy Kimmel. "I wait til my husband goes to sleep," she said. "Because I'm too embarrassed."

"Why?" Kimmel asked.

"That I'm watching myself on TV every night," she responded. "I mean, I'm not watching it for myself. I just like a sitcom before bed, and I ran out."

Kimmel asked the actress if revisiting Friends makes her feel like she's "watching someone else" on screen. "It does now!" she confirmed. "Everyone's hilarious, and I'm laughing out loud."

The host also inquired whether there were any episodes that Kudrow didn't remember or hadn't seen. "Most of them!" the Emmy winner said. "The opposite's the easier question: do you remember any of them?"

Kudrow can next be seen in season 3 of The Comeback. The season premieres on Sunday, March 22 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
