Ask Dr. Ruth (2019)

Dr. Ruth Westheimer in 'Ask Dr. Ruth' Austin Hargrave/Hulu

The late Dr. Ruth Westheimer is still one of America's most enigmatic media figures. An orphaned Holocaust survivor turned sexual therapist, Westheimer became a media darling in the '80s thanks to her radio and television shows, and her regular recommendation that her viewers "get some." Ryan White's documentary joins Westheimer as she prepares to turn 90, then doubles back to examine her past, and to contemplate how she arrived here.

As EW's reviewer writes, "the doc's heart lies in one simple truth that emerges through White's framing of her story — that Dr. Ruth's compassion and capacity for empathy stemmed from her own deep loss." —Ilana Gordon

In 1985, New York magazine dubbed a group of young up-and-coming actors the "Brat Pack," thus changing the trajectory of their careers. Now, 40 years later, Andrew McCarthy — star of movies like Pretty in Pink and one of the alleged brats — decided to contact all the members of the Brat Pack to discuss what that title meant to them and their work, and how their perception of the name has changed after four decades. A shortcut to understanding one facet of '80s culture, Brats is an investigation into a moment in Hollywood led by those who lived it. —I.G.

Burning desire has never been quite so literal. This Oscar-nominated nature documentary tells the story of Katia and Maurice Krafft, French volcanologists who made a name for themselves in the '70s and '80s with their stunning reels of volcanic eruptions.

The film weaves in the Kraffts' own love story with some of the most dazzling archival footage of fire and ash ever captured, made all the more stunning when you remember it was filmed decades ago. Miranda July's lyrical narration brings what EW's critic calls a "hushed awe and diaristic intimacy" to the film, making the Kraffts' story all the more bittersweet. —Kevin Jacobsen

River Road and Participant

The way to someone's heart is through their stomach; the way to change someone's mind is by showing them a documentary about the food they're putting into their body. Food, Inc. is one such documentary. That documentary interrogated what goes into the modern foods we eat, and the laws and conglomerates that work to keep consumers in the dark about how those foods came to be. The movie made a splash when it premiered in 2008, earning an Oscar nod for Best Documentary. And the first film left enough on the table that this doc, Food, Inc. 2, was released 15 years later. —I.G.

Documentaries centered on single-minded people continue to be subjects of fascination for audiences and filmmakers alike. One such case is this tense Oscar-winning doc about rock climber Alex Honnold and his determination to conquer the El Capitan rock formation at Yosemite National Park via free solo climb, which is to say, without any ropes to protect him.

While Honnold's efforts are gripping to behold, we also get a fascinating glimpse into what it means to love a person who is constantly putting himself in harm's way, as seen through the eyes of his girlfriend, Sanni. As EW's critic writes, "What makes it more than just ghoulish voyeurism is how it paints a surprisingly rich character study of a young man and the obsession that drives him." —K.J.

Joan Baez's I Am a Noise invokes the spirit of Boston's folk scene in the early '60s, where she began her 60-year-long career as a musician and activist. Thought-provoking and self-reflective, I Am a Noise digs into Baez's past traumas, including her issues with her father, and her tumultuous romantic relationship with Bob Dylan.

A story told personally and beautifully thanks to the subject's artwork, home videos, therapy tapes, interviews, diary entries, and more, it took three directors (Miri Navasky, Maeve O'Boyle, and Karen O'Connor) to tell one beautiful and introspective story about a singer, her voice, and her journey towards healing herself. —I.G.

Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery (2025)

Lilith Fair concert in 'Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery'

Merri Cyr/ABC

Without Lilith Fair, there would be no Eras Tour. As lore has it, late-'90s music business standards frowned upon booking two women on the same concert bill, believing that female artists didn't sell. Lilith Fair was female artists' attempt to prove everybody wrong.

Spearheaded by Canadian musician Sarah McLachlan, the festival was the first to book an all-female lineup. Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery retells the story of the underdog music festival that surpassed expectations and helped revolutionize the industry. Sally (2025)

NASA astronaut Sally Ride in 'Sally'

Sally Ride was once one of the most famous people in the world. As the first American woman and youngest American astronaut to go to space, she broke barriers and forged new paths for future scientists. But as famous as she was, Ride chose to keep her personal life quiet, which is why the public didn't realize she had been in a 27-year-long partnership with former professional tennis player Tam O'Shaughnessy until Ride's death in 2012.

Ride's relationship with O'Shaughnessy — and her decision to keep her sexuality private — are some of the film's driving focuses, and they give the audience new insight into Ride's life, and the commitment with which she approached her work. A brilliant woman deserves a brilliant documentary, and Sally is a tribute fit for an American hero. —I.G.

Brian Jones is the Rolling Stones' greatest tragedy. He founded the band in 1962, posting a newspaper ad that attracted the notice of several young British musicians. Seven years later, the Rolling Stones kicked Jones out of the group. One month later, he died by drowning.

Jones was a complicated man — a brilliant and talented musician with a vulnerability for women, drugs, and alcohol — and the film does a good job of paying homage to his legacy, while still acknowledging the ways in which his behavior contributed to his problems. Nina Simone in 'Summer of Soul (...or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised)' Searchlight Pictures

Many of us associate 1969 with the "Summer of Love" thanks to Woodstock, but that pivotal year was also the "Summer of Soul" thanks to a lesser-known but equally impactful music event: the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival. With powerful performances by B.B. King, Nina Simone, the 5th Dimension, and Stevie Wonder to name a few, Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson's Oscar-winning documentary explores how the gathering honored Black artistry, marked a cultural movement, and continues to ripple through music today.

As EW critic writes, "The interviews are their own historical document, though it's the visceral thrill of being inside all those archival clips — the flick of Simone's wrist, an ecstatic face in the crowd — that makes Summer of Soul comes most fully alive, somehow both as fresh as yesterday and as far away as the moon." —D.H.

Dana Carvey in 'Too Funny to Fail'

But the show tanked, defying all expectations, losing advertisers by the week, and creating tensions between the cast and network over content and tone.

Bridgerton returned for season 4 on Jan. 29

The regency romance is known for having dreamy sets and locations based in the United Kingdom

Many of the Netflix show's filming locations are real life places that fans can visit

Bridgerton has officially returned for season 4 — and with the new episodes, a new batch of dreamy estates are available for fans to visit.

While the Regency-era costumes and passionate love scenes contribute to the success of Shonda Rhimes' series, the lavish wisteria-filled sets of the Bridgerton universe are undoubtedly a major part of the show's romantic mystique as well.

To bring the magical world of Julia Quinn's books to life, Bridgerton's production crew filmed all across the United Kingdom — from real Tudor-era mansions and courtyards in the countryside to iconic museums and historic churches in the heart of London.

The fourth edition of the Netflix's period drama follows Benedict Bridgerton's (Luke Thompson) love story with Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). Amid their romance, they head to Benedict's countryside cottage — fittingly titled "My Cottage." In real life, fans can visit the real-life location, Loseley Park, or even plan their wedding at the manor.

So where is Bridgerton filmed? Here's everything to know about the show's filming locations and how to visit.

Royal Crescent

Royal Crescent in Bridgerton

Netflix

Location: Bath, England

Despite the show being about London's high society, the production team used the row of terrace houses composing the famed Royal Crescent to depict the exterior of the Featherington household.

The 500-foot-long stretch of 18th-century Georgian homes can be found in Bath — about a three-hour drive from London's city center.

Visitors can admire one of Bath's most iconic landmarks while enjoying the area's neighboring Royal Victoria Park or The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa. There is also a museum for guests to tour one of the homes and learn more about the Royal Crescent's architecture and history.

Hatfield House

Hatfield House in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: Hertfordshire, England

While the exterior of the Featheringtons' home is in Bath, the interior is shot three hours away in a heritage property called Hatfield House in the county of Hertfordshire.

It's also been reported that Hatfield, a 17th-century Jacobean property once home to the first Earl of Salisbury, was used for various scenes of the inside of the Bridgerton estate in season 2. Movie fans may also recognize the property for appearing in films like Sleepy Hollow (1999), V for Vendetta (2005), The King's Speech (2010) andThe Favourite (2018).

The grounds are now open to visitors, who can explore the estate's garden, stable yard, nearby nature paths and accompanying restaurant.

Lancaster House

Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte netflix

Location: London, England

Bridgerton fans remember seeing the luxe interior of Lancaster House — a property near Buckingham Palace commissioned in 1825 by the then-Duke of York and later becoming the home of the first Duke of Sutherland — featured prominently in season 2 scenes between Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran) and Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) in Her Majesty's residence.

The building now belongs to the British government and is used for various events. Lancaster House has also appeared in The King's Speech, The Crown (2016-2023), National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007) and more.

Reform Club

The Reform Club in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: London, England

Within walking distance of Buckingham Palace is the Reform Club, one of the most prestigious members-only social clubs in London — but more commonly known to viewers as the place where Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and the Duke of Hastings (Regé Jean-Page) had a memorable heart-to-heart in season 1.

The Club was founded in 1836 as a political center for the Whigs and Radicals and later became a nonpolitical meeting place boasting Italian Renaissance architecture and a robust art collection. The Reform Club is not usually open to visitors, except for organized groups during the week, but will occasionally grant access to the public.

St. James Church

St. James Church in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: London, England

It's impossible to forget the dramatic wedding scene between Anthony and Edwina (Charithra Chandran) that resulted in lots of family tension.

The climatic sequence took place in St. James Church in Piccadilly, built by Sir Christopher Wren and consecrated in 1684. Today, the Church of England congregation describes the St. James community as a "welcoming and inclusive" place for worship, where visitors may join in prayer or get involved in various services and programs around the arts, social justice and spiritual life.

The Holburne Museum

The Holbourne Museum in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: Bath, England

One look at The Holburne Museum and it's easy to see that Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh)'s digs are unmatched.

The iconic museum attracts many thanks to its various exhibits and extensive art collection of roughly 9,000 objects belonging to Sir William Holbourne, the fifth baronet of Menstrie. Visitors can stop by every day except Sunday to observe paintings and sculptures, plus attend events.

The Abbey Deli

The Abbey Deli in 'Bridgerton' LIAM DANIEL/NETFLIX

Location: Bath, England

Viewers who have pictured themselves trying on lavish ball gowns in Madame Delacroix (Kathryn Drysdale)'s Modiste shop can make part of that fantasy come true when visiting The Abbey Deli.

The eatery, which served as the backdrop of the dress shop, is located a few steps away from the Bath Abbey church. The business proudly boasts its role in the hit Netflix series, even adding a Modiste afternoon tea experience to its menu for guests.

Castle Howard

Castle Howard in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: York, England

Castle Howard, an estate that took over 100 years to complete, served numerous filming purposes in season 1 of Bridgerton.

Most memorably, Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) knocked out Nigel Berbrooke (Jamie Beamish) with a punch in the Walled Garden area of the 18th-century castle grounds in one scene. In another, Daphne and the Duke enjoyed intimate moments in Castle Howard's Archbishop's bedroom, where real guests are hosted today.

The castle grounds are also home to monuments, statues and temples, including The Temple of the Four Winds, where the Duke and Duchess take shelter when a heavy downpour disrupts their evening walk.

Hampton Court Palace

Hampton Court Palace in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: London, England

In season 3, episode 4, Hampton Court Palace shines front and center as the venue for Queen Charlotte's ball. The Privy Garden on the grounds is also a focal point in season 2 outdoor moments between the Sharma sisters.

Finally, the Master Carpenter's Court area has been used as the printing shop where Lady Whistledown's pamphlets are created.

The historical home was home to Henry VIII before becoming the palace of William III and Mary II. Visitors are welcome to walk through these areas of the Tudor home and attend public summer concerts in the grand courtyard.

Ranger's House

Ranger's House in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: London, England

Fans who fantasize about living at the Bridgerton household will want to take a picture in front of Ranger's House, where many of the exterior home shots of the family estate have been captured.

Ranger's House guests can admire the red-brick Georgian home featured in several scenes and venture inside to see 19th-century businessman Sir Julius Wernher's vast art collection, consisting of over 700 works of Renaissance art, medieval sculptures and jewelry pieces.

Kingston Bagpuize House

Kingston Bagpuize House in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: Oxfordshire, England

Remember how shocked Will (Martin Imhangbe) and Alice Mondrich (Emma Naomi) were when they stepped out of their carriage in season 3 to see the home they would be living in after their son Nicky (James Bryan) unexpectedly inherited the Baron of Ken title? Fans may have the same reaction when they visit Kingston Bagpuize House, where the fictional family's life changed forever.

Apart from the exterior, viewers will particularly remember seeing glimpses of the Entrance Hall, Drawing Room and Pink Bedroom if they venture inside the manor.

The Kingston Bagpuize House — with a history that dates back to the 11th century — and accompanying garden are open to the public on select Sundays and Mondays throughout the year.

Wilton House

Wilton House in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: Wiltshire, England

Debutantes can be declared the season's diamond or cast aside in the halls of Wilton House, which has served in the series as Queen Charlotte's presentation room, among other things.

According to House Beautiful, the 16th-century home, which is owned today by the 18th Earl and Countess of Pembroke and built on land granted by Henry VIII, is also where various bedroom, parlor and garden party scenes with Her Majesty have been captured.

The outlet also reports that the residence's interior was used to depict Lady Danbury's library. Those hoping to visit can purchase tickets upon arrival before exploring different parts of the house and grounds.

Windsor Great Park

Windsor Great Park in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: Berkshire, England

The love between Anthony and Kate (Simone Ashley) began with a thrilling chase on horses through a lush forest in Windsor Great Park.

The woodland area — which is part of the greater Windsor Estate and leads straight to Windsor Castle — also features golf courses, farms and the famed Ascot Racecourse.

Visitors who go to the 4,800-acre park (which is free to access) aren't merely seeing a film set — they will be experiencing a historical, royal site that dates back thousands of years.

Grimsthorpe Castle

Grimsthorpe Castle in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: Lincolnshire, England

A new member of the Ton, inventor Lord Hawkins (Deepak Verma) hosted an extravagant ball in season 3 in the real-life Grimsthorpe Castle at Vanbrugh Hall.

To create the grandeur of the space, a fake floor was installed in the hall to protect the original stone. When the space is not used to film ballroom scenes, the Grimsthorpe castle, with parts that date back to the 12th century, is open to guests to explore.

Step inside to see the castle's collection of tapestries, ceramics and paintings made for British royalty or venture outside to admire the nearby gardens and park.

Wrotham Park

Wrotham Park in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: Hertfordshire, England

Perhaps no filming location shines brighter in season 2 than Wrotham Park, also known as Aubrey Hall, the Bridgertons' country home, where Anthony and Kate's romance grows deeper, thanks to an intense game of pall-mall played on the grounds.

The mansion, constructed in 1754, sits upon a 2,500-acre estate and is now owned by Robert Byng, a relative of the famous Admiral John Byng. Unfortunately, the Palladian home is not open to the general public.

Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: Oxfordshire, England

While glimpses of Blenheim Palace, particularly the Great Court and Water Terraces, are most prominently highlighted in the spinoff series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, the 18th-century country house also appears as Queen Charlotte's residence in season 3 of Bridgerton.

The palace was designed by English architects John Vanbrugh and Nicholas Hawksmoor and was built to honor John Churchill, the first Duke of Marlborough. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage site open to visitors to explore the palace's state rooms, Churchill exhibition, Sir Winston Churchill's birth room, garden area and more.

Halton House

Halton House in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: Buckinghamshire, England

What do the wedding reception of Daphne and Simon in season 1 and the makeshift dance scene involving Lady Danbury, Lady Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell), the Sharma sisters and Bridgerton children from season 2 have in common?

Both were filmed in Halton House, as were a few more miscellaneous moments capturing the Sharmas' accommodations at Aubrey Hall and interior shots of the Bridgerton household, according to Elle Decor.

The French Renaissance-inspired home was built for Alfred de Rothschild, who hosted regal guests, including King Edward VII and Lily Langtree, during the late 19th century. The house later became an important army base during World War I and is currently a base for the Royal Air Force today.

Osterley Park and House

Osterley Park and House in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Location: London, England

The iconic Full Moon ball of season 3 takes place at Osterley Park and House, a Tudor mansion built in the 1570s and later owned by wealthy banker Sir Francis Child in 1713.

Over the years, the house became more grand and evolved into a gathering place full of world-class art and luxurious space for parties and entertainment.

The Bridgerton cast and crew are hardly the first to shoot at Osterley — films like An Alligator Named Daisy (1955), Vanity Fair (2004) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012), plus the Netflix series The Crown, have all been shot on the premises as well.

Old Royal Naval College

Old Royal Naval College in 'Bridgerton'.

Netflix

Lady Whistledown's pamphlets are flying out of the hands of paperboys all around the Old Royal Naval College, a UNESCO world heritage estate designed by Sir Christopher Wren that once served as a hospital before becoming a top naval training college in Europe in the late 19th century.

After closing as a training ground in 1997, it became a full-time visitor attraction and is still a popular U.K. tourist spot.

Bridgerton fans can spot the Old Royal Naval College mostly throughout season 2, like when a paperboy scurries across the grounds to deliver the latest gossip from Lady Whistledown in the first episode.

Later in the same episode, a different part of the grounds served as the background of a conversation between Penelope and Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) in the marketplace. The College was also spotted in episodes 7 and 8 when members of the Ton strolled through the Grand Square and surrounding areas.

The 18th-century landscaped garden has been the site of many afternoon park scenes in Bridgerton, including moments involving Daphne and Simon's courtship on the Five Arch Bridge in season 1. Painshill Park was also the location where a hot air balloon almost injured Penelope in season 3.

The grounds are open to the public to soak in the picturesque scenery and learn more about the park that architectural historian Nikolaus Pevsner once described as Britain's "greatest contribution to the visual arts," according to the park's website.

In season 4, episode 3, Benedict and Sophie share a romantic time at My Cottage, a.k.a. Benedict's country home, as they seek refuge during a storm. In real life, the manor is none other than Loseley Park, which is southwest of Guildford in Surrey, England.

The home was built between 1562 and 1569 and has served as a private residence for over 400 years, per the website. While it remains in the More-Molyneux family's hands, it opens to the public for visits on select days during the summer. It's also available for weddings, reportedly hosting about 80 per year, according to InStyle.

Former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates has chalked up his friendship with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as a "huge mistake."

The New York Times reported that Gates began a friendship with the disgraced financier in 2011, which was three years after Epstein pleaded guilty to procuring a child for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute. (Epstein was sentenced to 18 months behind bars but was ultimately released in 2010 after completing the end of his sentence on home confinement.)

Bill's relationship with Epstein came under new scrutiny when the financier died by suicide at age 66 in August 2019 following his arrest on federal sex crimes charges. The tech mogul's marriage to Melinda French Gates ended two years later — and she subsequently told CBS News that her estranged husband's connection to Epstein was a particular sticking point.

"It's not one thing [that led to the split], it was many things. But I did not like that he'd had meetings with Jeffrey Epstein," Melinda revealed in March 2022. "I made that clear to him."

New York Giants Co-Owner Steve Tisch Breaks Silence After Being Named in Epstein Files

The Epstein connection resurfaced in 2026 when Bill vehemently denied the veracity of emails where Epstein allegedly claimed that the Microsoft billionaire contracted a sexually transmitted infection (STI) from "Russian girls." (The emails were unsealed by the Justice Department along with 100 new photos on January 30, 2026, in compliance with the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.)

Keep scrolling for more about what Gates has said about his friendship with Epstein over the years.

Bill Gates Admitted He 'Certainly' Had Concerns About His Relationship With Jeffrey Epstein

Anderson Cooper pointed out during an August 2021 segment with Bill Gates on CNN that Melinda French Gates first met with divorce lawyers around the time the Jeffrey Epstein scandal resurfaced in 2019.

The CNN reporter later quizzed Bill over whether he ever had any "concerns" about his ties to the convicted sex offender at the time.

"Oh, certainly," Bill confirmed.

Bill then clarified that his "relationship [with Epstein] ended" when he realized that the disgraced financier could not follow through on promises of raising billions for The Gates Foundation.

"It was a huge mistake to spend time with him, to give him the credibility of being there," Bill admitted. "There were lots of others in that same situation but I made a mistake."

Bill Gates Shared His Regret Over His Friendship With Jeffrey Epstein

During a September 2021 interview with Judy Woodruff on PBS NewsHour, Bill Gates was grilled about the nature of his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

"I had dinners with him," Bill acknowledged. "I regret doing that."

According to Bill, Epstein had promised to leverage his relationships with "people he said would give to global health," which is one of the tech executive's prominent charitable focuses.

"Those meetings were a mistake. They didn't result in what he purported and I cut them off. That goes back a long time ago now," he insisted. "There's nothing new on that."

When Woodruff countered that there were reports of her guest meeting with Epstein over "several years," Bill shook his head in disagreement.

"I've said I regretted having those dinners," he insisted. "There's absolutely nothing new on that."

Asked if there was any lesson to be learned, Bill retorted, "Well, he's dead so, in general, you always have to be careful."

Bill Gates Said Jeffrey Epstein Was Not Honest About His Background

Bill Gates accused Jeffrey Epstein of trying to downplay the severity of his 2008 conviction while discussing the scandal with Savannah Guthrie on Today in 2024. Guthrie pointed out that Bill first met with Epstein after the convicted criminal already served his prison sentence.

"I didn't realize that meeting with him almost downplayed the incredibly awful things he did," Bill said. "I learned more about that over time but I'd add that to the list of big mistakes."

Bill confirmed that his ex-wife Melinda French Gates discouraged him from getting involved with Epstein at the time.

"Melinda's advice was sound and I should have followed it sooner than I did," he acknowledged.

Bill denied that he ever personally witnessed Epstein doing anything inappropriate.

"He was a bad person and I had a reason I thought those meetings would lead to something good," he said. "But I shouldn't have done them."

Bill Gates Called Himself 'Quite Stupid' For Spending Time With Jeffrey Epstein

In a January 2025 interview with The Wall Street Journal, Bill Gates offered insight on how Jeffrey Epstein gained influence with the wealthy and powerful.

"In retrospect, I was foolish to spend any time with him. And he, sort of, got time with various people by spending time with other people," Gates recalled. "So yes, I think I was quite stupid. I thought it would help me with global health philanthropy. In fact, it failed to do that, it was just a huge mistake."

Bill said that his experience with Epstein "definitely" made him more skeptical about whom he met with later on.

Bill Gates Denied Jeffrey Epstein's Allegation That He Got an STI From 'Russian Girls'

A spokesperson for Bill Gates strenuously denied there was any truth to Jeffrey Epstein's allegations that the Microsoft billionaire contracted a sexually transmitted infection (STI) from "Russian girls."

Controversy over Bill's past with Epstein was renewed in January 2026 following the Justice Department's release of 3 million new documents and 100 photos obtained from Epstein's estate. The Justice Department published the documents to comply with the 2025 passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

In one January 2013 email — purportedly written by Epstein to Bill — the sex offender accused the former Microsoft executive of "disregard[ing] our friendship" and complained about being told that he'd "engaged in morally inappropriate behavior" by one of Bill's associates.

"To add insult to the injury you then subsequently with tears in your eyes, implore me to please delete the emails regarding your std, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda, and the description of your penis," he wrote later in the email.

In response, Bill's representative told People, "These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false. The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein's frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame."

The emails were reportedly drafted for Boris Nikolic, a former Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation chief advisor for science and technology who resigned in 2014. Nikolic denied having any business ties to Epstein in 2019, Bloomberg reported at the time.

There is no evidence that Epstein's email was ever sent or that Bill was even aware of it before it was published by the Justice Department.

Skarsgård's sexy outfit on SNL was just his latest sultry look in recent months, as he promotes his new film Pillion, in theaters Feb. 6

Alexander Skarsgård brought sexy to Saturday Night Live!

As the actor, 49, made his hosting debut on the late-night comedy sketch series' Jan. 31 episode, he kept his sexy style streak going, wearing a blue SNL-embroidered bathrobe each time he introduced Cardi B as the evening's musical guest.

Announcing Cardi's first performance of "Bodega Baddie," Skarsgård wore the cozy attire, and he did the same when he introduced the rapper, 33, once more, moments before she performed "ErrTime."

For the latter intro, Skarsgård paired his blue bathrobe with a notable accessory: a small, glittery tiara that sparkled under the lights of SNL's Studio 8H.

The father of one made his SNL hosting debut on Jan. 31 — which marked the series' 1,000th episode. His own dad, Stellan SkarsgÃ¥rd, appeared for a surprise cameo, starring alongside his son in two sketches. (Some other famous members of the SkarsgÃ¥rd's acting family include Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd, Gustaf SkarsgÃ¥rd and Valter SkarsgÃ¥rd.)

SkarsgÃ¥rd — whose most recent film project is the Charli xcx-starring The Moment — previously amped up his fashion choices throughout 2025 as well, as he promoted Pillion, in which he stars as a member of a local biker gang who starts a BDSM relationship with a younger, closeted gay man (played by Harry Melling).

One notable style moment took place when Skarsgård wore an edgy outfit during the BFI London Film Festival, pairing a backless white halterneck shirt with leather trousers. Another came when the actor sported a shirt featuring dildos, paper towels, lubricants and a cracked cellphone at the 21st Zurich Film Festival.

The Harry Lighton-directed film includes several scenes that do not shy away from the realities of sex, Skarsgård told Variety. "I often find sex on screen quite boring," he said. "Usually, all the tension is leading up to that moment, and then once people are in the sack."

Skarsgård further explained that he and Lighton, 33, "wanted it to be clumsy and weird. On screen, it often looks like a ballet, but sex can be awkward and funny."

Saturday Night Live will return on Feb. 28 with Heated Rivalry's Connor Storrie as host and Mumford & Sons as the musical guest. Pillion will be released in the U.S. by A24 on Feb. 6.

**Warning: This article contains spoilers for the *Bridgerton* season 4 premiere, "The Waltz."**

Call it life imitating art: Yerin Ha reveals she had her very own fairytale moment while filming the *Cinderella*-esque fourth season of *Bridgerton*.

The actress and her costar Luke Thompson tell * *that she genuinely lost a shoe while they were filming the scene in which her character, Sophie Baek, flees the Bridgertons' masquerade ball in the season 4 premiere. **

"She lost her shoe! In a *Cinderella* way!" Thompson exclaims. To which Ha gleefully adds, "I did!"

Sophie attends the Bridgertons' lavish bash in secret, donning a glittering silver gown and a matching face mask that conceals her true identity as a housemaid from the rest of the ton. **

A chance encounter with bohemian perma-bachelor Benedict Bridgerton (Thompson) leads to the pair spending an enchanting evening together in the pergola, but when the clock strikes midnight, Sophie is forced to flee or risk being unmasked.

'Bridgerton' showrunner teases 'high stakes' and 'juicy conflict' in Benedict and Sophie's season 4 romance

Benedict finally meets his mysterious match in 'Bridgerton' season 4 trailer

As Thompson tells it, he and Ha were in the middle of shooting the sequence where Benedict chases after Sophie, known only to him as the Woman in Silver, when the shoe situation occurred.  **

"Literally, we cry, 'Cut!' And we'd been running from the house to the pergola so we had to reset," he says. "And Yerin, when she was resetting, ran up some steps and left a shoe." **

Ha, however, notes that the moment looked "a little bit different" than in previous *Cinderella* adaptations because it happened before the cameras had started rolling. Plus, she teases, "I would have ruined the shot anyways because I literally went, "*I lost a shoe!*'"

While it might not be a shoe, Sophie *does* end up inadvertently giving Benedict a parting gift when she loses one of her gloves in her mad dash for the exit. The clothing item becomes Benedict's first real clue in his quest to identify his mysterious match.

And, honestly, the glove alone is plenty enough material — at least in Thompson's book. "He's already got a glove. He's picking up a shoe?" he jokingly tells Ha. "By the end, he'll have your whole costume!"

The first part of *Bridgerton* season 4 is streaming now on Netflix, with the second installment slated to drop on Feb. 26.**
