Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have been awarded joint legal custody of their five kids.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the former couple will have joint legal custody of their four minor kids — Stella, 17, Hattie, 14, Finn, 13, and Beau, 8. They are also parents to son Liam 18, who is not a minor.
As for physical custody, the two acknowledged that Spelling will have "substantially higher" amounts of time with their kids. However, McDermott will be awarded "reasonable custodial timeshare" to be determined by the two parties. If there is a dispute about physical custody, the two will turn to a mediator to solve the issue.
There will also be no child support. Spelling and McDermott will split their minor children's health care expenses equally, both for future and outstanding expenses. They will also each pay half of their kids' extracurricular activities.

On this week's episode of her podcast misSPELLING, Spelling addressed her recent divorce settlement from her ex-husband McDermott. At the time, the mom of five said she felt lucky to be walking away from her divorce with what she refers to as a "clean slate."
"Dean and I came out of this divorce with a clean slate. Neither of us asked each other for anything," said Spelling. "We walked away as two complete parties that are just there to support, love, raise and set a great example of how families can divorce, uncouple and lead by example and still be there for their family."
"Our kids are most important. And it makes me sad to think that so many marriages are not in a good place. And it's sad to think that the human that you started this beautiful, fairy tale-esque dream, because that's every young person's dream is a fairy tale," said Spelling. "And to be lead in your own rom com and to create such beautiful memories to raise families together. And then one day, it's done. And people walk away and they hate each other."
"They can't see each other. You know, it's just the kids go back and forth and it makes me sad. And I feel beyond blessed that I have the opposite of that," she added.

At the beginning of November, the former couple settled their divorce over two years after first separating. The pair signed off on the terms in late October, according to documents filed with the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, on Nov. 3.
In the court documents obtained by PEOPLE, both Spelling and McDermott checked off that they'll submit a written agreement to the court, with their divorce listed as "uncontested."
Spelling initially filed for divorce from McDermott on March 29, 2024, after 18 years of marriage. At the time, Spelling requested the court award her spousal support and sole physical custody of their five minor children and joint legal custody with McDermott's visitation rights to be determined at a later date.
