The streets of Manhattan were filled with cheers and excitement as the real-life voices of KPop Demon Hunters' Huntr/X group, Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, made their dazzling debut at the 99th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Performing their breakout hit "Golden," the trio brought their animated characters Rumi, Mira and Zoey to life with eye-catching outfits that had parade-goers and viewers buzzing.

Huntr/X Performance Lights Up Herald Square

The Huntr/X singers appeared in cozy snowsuits inspired by their animated personas, blending warmth with performance-ready style. Ejae sported a bright purple headband for Rumi, Nuna wore two hair-framing pieces and Ami added earmuffs reflecting her character's hairbuns.

Their choreography, complete with confetti bursts, brought a cinematic pop energy to the streets of New York.

Fans watching on TODAY's Instagram quickly shared their reactions.

"I love how they're all dressed like their characters 💜🩷💛," one wrote.

Another added, "She knows she's eating that outfit in them lil boots."

While many praised the authenticity, some critics disagreed, noting, "Not a fan of their outfits for Thanksgiving. Their stylist must not understand Turkey Day. It's not HALLOWEEN."

Yet others pointed out the thoughtfulness of the design.

"They're dressed for Winterfell, and I like it!" a commenter said.

Another agreed, saying, "My favorite part is they are wearing clothes that look warm AND performance attire."

The purple fluffy headgear for Rumi also drew playful attention: "The purple fluffy headgear for Rumi's hair 😭."

The trio's performance was complemented by the debut of the massive Derpy Tiger balloon, a fan-favorite character from Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters. Towering 21 feet tall and stretching 39 feet long.

Huntr/X Brings K-Pop Power to America

With "Golden" hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning four Grammy nominations, the Huntr/X performance marks a milestone for K-pop's global influence. EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami brought the high-energy choreography and dynamic harmonies of the animated film directly to the live audience, which included actor and comedian Ken Jeong, who sang along enthusiastically.

The parade, streaming on NBC and Peacock, featured other headline acts including Cynthia Erivo, Kool & the Gang, Lil Jon and Taylor Momsen.

This year's parade covered a 2.5-mile route from West 77th Street and Central Park West down to Macy's Herald Square, filled with over 34 balloons, 28 floats, 26 performers, 4,500 handmade costumes and thousands of cheering spectators.

Huntr/X's debut at the parade reflects the growing impact of K-pop in American culture. From animated screens to a live holiday stage, Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami have transformed a classic Thanksgiving tradition into a celebration of music and style.
